We are a family-owned US-based self-storage business with locations across three states, and we’re growing! We’re looking for an energetic, reliable professional with excellent English communication skills to join our team as a Remote Call Receptionist.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll be more than just someone who answers phones. You'll be a sales and customer service professional who helps customers see the value in our facilities, turning inquiries into rentals and driving revenue for our growing business. Your role is to create excitement about what makes our locations stand out, guide customers confidently toward choosing us, and deliver an experience that feels consultative, not transactional. This position is ideal for someone who is friendly, persuasive, detail-oriented, dependable, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping customers while contributing to business growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Answer inbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Provide unit availability and pricing information
• Assist customers with payments, rentals, and issue resolution
• Direct calls to management when appropriate
• Support light administrative and operational tasks when not actively on calls
POSITION DETAILS
• Schedule (Starting Hours):
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST
• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
• Hours may adjust over time based on business needs and performance.
• Additional Scheduling Notes:
• New hires will always work the 1st of each month from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST, if not already scheduled
• New hires will be the first considered for additional hours when coverage is needed (e.g., time off, call-outs, or increased call volume)
• Pay: $6.00 per hour (with paid holidays and bonuses)
• Paid Training: Completed within two weeks prior to transitioning into regular hours
• Initial Period: 30-day conditional period following training, with a performance review at completion
