- ShopExperts – a platform connecting Shopify merchants with vetted experts
- App Store Research – Shopify App Store insights and analytics
We’re looking for a Product Designer with a strong eye for digital design who enjoys working across web, UI, and light print graphics, and who likes helping explore and validate new ideas through design.
ROLE DETAILS
Fully remote, 40 hrs/week (8-hour daily shift, Mon–Fri). $9/hour. CET time zone preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Design web and digital interfaces for internal and client-facing products
- Support exploration of new ideas and concepts through UI/UX and visual design
- Assist with design tasks related to existing products when needed
- Create web graphics, UI elements, layouts, and occasional print/marketing materials
- Collaborate with product leads and developers to refine ideas and improve usability
- Help maintain visual consistency across products and platforms
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have Skills
- Good working knowledge of Figma (layouts, components, auto-layout)
- Solid understanding of UI/UX basics (usability, hierarchy, clarity)
- Experience designing for web and responsive layouts
- Strong visual design skills (typography, spacing, layout, color)
- Ability to create digital assets and light print/marketing graphics
- Good written and spoken English
- Familiarity with Framer or similar tools
- Basic understanding of how designs are implemented in frontend
Nice to Haves
- Experience with SaaS, dashboards, or admin interfaces
- Experience working with product or development teams
- Detail-oriented and visually driven
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating on designs
- Curious and open to learning new tools and approaches
- Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Clear communicator who can explain design choices simply
