Through our proprietary global payroll SaaS platform and network of local experts, we simplify global HR and ensure compliance worldwide. We are growing rapidly and are looking for driven professionals to join our team.

We are seeking a results-oriented Partnerships Manager to build, manage, and scale Mercans’ strategic partner ecosystem. This role is central to our growth strategy and focuses on developing revenue-generating alliances with a defined set of channel partners, including HCM providers, payroll outsourcing firms, system integrators, advisory firms, and law firms. The ideal candidate has strong B2B partnership experience within SaaS, HR Tech, or global business services.

Partnership Strategy & Development

  • Develop and execute a partnership strategy aligned with Mercans’ growth objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities to expand market reach and value proposition.
  • Define partner tiers, engagement models, and joint value propositions.

Partner Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Identify, recruit, and engage partners aligned with Mercans’ ideal partner profile.
  • Lead partnership agreement negotiations, including referral terms and co-marketing commitments, in collaboration with Legal.
  • Oversee partner onboarding to ensure readiness, enablement, and success.

Relationship Management & Enablement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partner stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners.
  • Deliver partner enablement programs, including training, sales tools, and marketing collateral.
  • Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs) to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.

Performance Tracking & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Sales to convert partner-sourced leads into revenue.
  • Work with Marketing on joint campaigns, webinars, and events.
  • Track and report KPIs including partner-sourced pipeline, revenue, and ROI.
  • Manage partner pipeline and reporting through CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, or business development within B2B SaaS, HR Tech, Payroll, or EOR.
  • Proven success in building and scaling a partner ecosystem that delivers revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Strategic, analytical, and data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.

Preferred

  • Existing network within HCM providers, system integrators, advisory firms, or law firms.
  • Experience with HCM platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle.
  • Familiarity with CRM and partner management tools (Salesforce, PartnerStack, Impartner).
  • Experience working in a remote-first, globally distributed organization.
