About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Steel Estimator with strong Tekla EPM experience in miscellaneous and structural steel fabrication. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with precision, and can confidently manage multiple estimating projects using Tekla as the primary estimating platform.

Core Responsibilities
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine labor, material, and timeline requirements
Perform detailed steel estimating using Tekla EPM for miscellaneous and structural steel (e.g., stairs, railings, tanks, hoppers, chutes)
Prepare accurate takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid proposals within Tekla
Develop scopes of work, bid packages, and value-engineered solutions
Manage drawing reviews and submittals from internal review through fabrication release
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure complete and competitive pricing
Maintain and improve Tekla-based estimating systems, databases, and documentation
Support proposal development and business growth initiatives
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in miscellaneous steel fabrication estimating
Strong proficiency in Tekla EPM (required)
Experience with Bluebeam or Adobe, and Microsoft Excel/Word
Solid knowledge of industry standards (AISC, AWS, NOMMA, AESS, SSPC)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred / Bonus Skills
Experience working with complex or custom steel fabrication projects
Background in value engineering and cost optimization strategies
Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and vendors

Part-Time : CST
