Paid Audio and Video Recording Study (French) hourly

As a participant in the Juniper task, you will join an online video call with 1-2 other participants to record a natural conversation in your native language, naturally mixing in English words and phrases—a practice known as code-switching. Roughly one out of every three sentences should include English, reflecting real-world bilingual communication. Conversation topics can range from news events and personal interests to fictitious stories, keeping the dialogue authentic and engaging.

Each session involves a minimum of four recordings, ensuring ample data for AI training. You’ll need a stable internet connection, a quiet environment, and a device with video capabilities. Sessions are conducted remotely, offering flexibility to contribute from anywhere.

This role is ideal for native speakers who are also proficient in English and comfortable conversing naturally in both languages. Your participation directly supports the development of more inclusive and accurate AI systems.

Who we're looking for:

• Native French speakers, proficient in English
• Genuinely bilingual - for example, you grew up speaking both languages, lived abroad, or regularly speak both at work or home
• Adults 18+ (diverse age range welcome)
• Outgoing and comfortable speaking conversationally for extended time (up to 30 minutes at a time)
• Have a stable internet connection and a dedicated external microphone (or headset with microphone)

Conversation topics can include, among others:

• Talking about a news event you've been following
• Discussing finance, healthcare, customer service or restaurant experiences, and/or technology

Important:

• Session format
• Only native speakers are eligible to participate
• Location: Remote — recorded on your own device, from anywhere (as long as there is no background noise whatsoever)

Paid a total of $70 (USD) for a recording session which lasts 3.5 hours.
