Linguistic Consultant full time

TeenUp is a high-growth EdTech startup backed by top-tier global investors (Acumen, MIT Solve, TiE Singapore). We are building a diverse ecosystem to empower youth through education and healthcare solutions. We are looking for a professional Linguistic Specialist to act as a bridge for our expansion.

YOUR ROLE:

• Perform translation and interpretation between Vietnamese and Filipino.
• Review, provide feedback, and edit video scripts/subtitles translated from Vietnamese to Filipino to ensure cultural relevance.
• Evaluate translation quality and resolve linguistic discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the content team to localize educational materials.
• Stay updated with market trends in the education and translation fields.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Language Proficiency: Native-level fluency in Vietnamese and professional proficiency in Filipino (Tagalog).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in translation or localization.
• Skills: Excellent communication, project management, and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in CAT tools (Trados, MemoQ) is an advantage.
• Attitude: Strong sense of responsibility, able to handle high-pressure environments, and committed to high-quality output.

WORKING HOURS:

• Monday to Friday, plus 2 weekend days per month (as assigned).
• Shift: 08:30 – 12:00 | 13:30 – 18:00 (GMT+7).
