We are seeking an experienced International Policy Analyst with a strong focus on Europe, particularly France, to support strategic analysis at the intersection of geopolitics, security, and economic policy. This role is designed for candidates with prior exposure to governmental, military, or official policy environments, or with proven collaboration experience with such institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze European and French developments in geopolitics, foreign policy, security, and defense
- Track and assess economic and regulatory policies, with particular attention to:**Competition and antitrust policy.Trade measures, tariffs, and sanctions regimes,**Industrial policy, strategic autonomy, and supply-chain security
- Evaluate France’s and the EU’s positioning within broader frameworks such as EU governance, NATO, transatlantic relations, Indo-Pacific strategy, and major power competition
- Translate complex policy and regulatory developments into actionable strategic insights
Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience in one or more of the following is strongly preferred:
- Employment with government bodies, diplomatic services, defense or security institutions, military organizations, or quasi-governmental agencies
- Direct collaboration with French or European government entities, armed forces, NATO-related structures, regulatory authorities, or official think tanks
- Policy advisory, strategic consulting, or research roles involving defense, security, or economic regulation
- Solid understanding of French political institutions, EU regulatory mechanisms, and defense or security architecture
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and deliver structured, evidence-based analysis
