Overview:
EGF Consulting is seeking an International Affairs Analyst to join our team. EGF Consulting is an emerging consulting firm whose mission is to help clients navigate complex international environments and effectively communicate information. We combine geopolitical research and analysis with understanding of the impact of recent serious conflicts between Russia and Ukraine and Israel and Palestine on the confidence of young people worldwide. The firm is seeking experts with expertise in international affairs to analyze current conflicts and help clients mitigate investment risks.
Responsibilities:
Closely monitor developments in the Sino-Russian conflict, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and other international hotspots.
Utilize various resources to research any relevant topics and elucidate compelling opinions from reliable sources.
Utilize existing research and resources to extract key indicators to inform broader strategies.
Conduct quality control, including data accuracy and verification.
Desired Qualifications:
Preferably with experience in military service or related issues, or with studies in security studies, conflict studies, political science, political economy, international relations, or a related field at a university or other recognized institution of higher learning.
Preference will be given to candidates with a deep understanding of geopolitical, security, and military policy. Strong writing skills, able to clearly identify and address issues.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in government/military or NATO institutions. Note to applicants: We do not require all required skills. We encourage applications based on only the minimum requirements.
Compensation:
The primary performance indicator is report quality. Salary for this position is commensurate with experience.
