About Us:
Ad Lab is a performance-focused Google Ads agency helping eCommerce brands scale profitably. We’re known for running highly optimized Shopping and Performance Max campaigns and we’re growing fast. As we expand, we’re looking for a Google Merchant Center (GMC) expert to join our team and help us with Merchant Center account recoveries, appeals, feed compliance, and troubleshooting.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze and recover suspended or disapproved Merchant Center accounts
- Identify violations, submit appeals, and communicate with Google support if needed
- Provide step-by-step audits and implementation recommendations for clients
- Ensure store & product feeds are fully compliant with Google’s policies
- Assist with CSS integration, data feed setup, and GMC linking if required
- Proactively advise our media buyers and strategists on account health and best practices
Requirements:
- Proven track record of getting suspended or disapproved GMC accounts reinstated
- Deep understanding of Google Merchant Center policies (misrepresentation, shipping, return, contact pages, etc.)
- Experience working with Shopify
- Strong knowledge of data feeds, structured markup, and CSS (Comparison Shopping Services)
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues (e.g. crawlability, mismatched data, policy violations)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Must provide case studies or examples of past GMC account recoveries
Bonus Points:
- Experience with feed tools (DataFeedWatch, Channable, Symprosis, etc.)
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and Analytics
- Ability to work async but respond within working hours if urgent issues arise
