We’re looking for a skilled Excel expert (VBA / automation) to build a custom, user-friendly scheduling tool for our farming operations.
🌱 Project Overview
We need an Excel-based “program” with a clean interface that allows users to:
- Set and edit harvest timelines (e.g., drying, trimming durations)
- Generate new harvest schedules for a full year based on input dates
- Modify existing schedules with smart updates (future changes only — no overwriting past data)
🔧 Key Features Required
- Interactive dashboard with buttons:
- Set Harvest Timelines
- Create New Schedule
- Modify Existing Schedule
- Input validation (numeric fields, correct date formats)
- Auto-generated calendar view:
- Weekends highlighted
- Month transitions clearly marked
- Dynamic plotting based on timeline inputs
- “Replot” functionality (updates only from current date forward)
- Clean, intuitive UI (important!)
💡 Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience in Excel VBA / Macros
- Experience building interactive Excel tools or mini-systems
- Good understanding of logic-based workflows & automation
- Attention to detail (especially with dates, validations, and UI flow)
