We are seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps / SRE Engineer to design, build, and scale secure, highly reliable cloud platforms supporting mission-critical systems. This role focuses on Kubernetes platform engineering, Terraform automation, GitOps delivery pipelines, and SRE reliability practices.

You will work closely with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to build a self-service Internal Developer Platform (IDP) that improves deployment velocity, reduces operational overhead, and ensures production reliability across AWS and Azure environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate production-grade cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure

• Build and scale Kubernetes platforms (EKS/AKS) with multi-cluster architectures

• Develop reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure standards for self-service provisioning

• Implement and manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and/or FluxCD

• Modernize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps

• Drive SRE best practices including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, incident management, and reliability engineering

• Improve observability using Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and ELK

• Implement DevSecOps automation including SAST, DAST, container scanning, and dependency scanning

• Strengthen cloud security through IAM governance, RBAC, secrets management (Vault / AWS Secrets Manager)

• Support and optimize production systems including Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL

• Build automation tools and platform utilities using Go, Python, and Bash

• Participate in on-call rotations and lead post-incident reviews with corrective action execution

Requirements

• 4+ years of Cloud DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE experience

• Strong AWS expertise (EKS, ECS, EC2, IAM, VPC, RDS, S3)

• Kubernetes expertise (EKS/AKS/GKE) including canary, rolling, and blue/green deployments

• Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform

• Proven CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps

• Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD

• Solid understanding of production monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices

• Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Go, and Bash

• Deep knowledge of IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and security automation

• Experience supporting production environments with incident response responsibilities

• Experience supporting multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)

• Experience with compliance and security frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR

• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and self-service tooling

• Familiarity with service mesh technologies, ingress controllers, and advanced Kubernetes networking
