DaVinci Resolve Video Editor – Short Advertising Videos & Motion Graphics expert hourly

KanuLabs HQ: Reading, Surrey, United Kingdom Remote job Sep 26

We are a small digital services company based in the United Kingdom, working on website support, online advertising, and digital content. We are currently looking for a video editor to help us create short advertising videos and reusable video templates.

Position Type:

  • Part-Time / project-based
  • Remote / Work from Home
  • Short projects, approximately 10–15 second videos

About the Role:

We are looking for someone who is very comfortable with DaVinci Resolve and has good visual taste and a sense of motion design.

This is important: we are not simply looking for someone who knows how to move elements around or add basic fade-in/fade-out effects.

We are looking for someone who can make a simple video look elegant, natural and professional — good timing, movement, easing, visual hierarchy, etc.

The videos will usually be around 10–15 seconds long and based on a short source video. Your job will be to build the final advertising piece around it, adding a headline and a few other short text elements.

The main goal is to create a few good master templates which can later be edited by us.

It is therefore important that the work is done in DaVinci Resolve and that the editable project files are provided, so the templates can be modified later.

Requirements:

  • Good practical experience with DaVinci Resolve
  • Good sense of visual design and motion
  • Ability to create professional-looking animation without relying on excessive effects

- Good communication skills in English

How to Apply:

Please submit your Hubstaff Talent profile and a brief note about your experience with DaVinci Resolve, and preferable, link to samples of your video work.

Please note: the job budget is this job offer is a approx one, we would like to have one short video template priced around 6..8$.
