We are looking for a contractor with strong knowledge of professional photography and stock images. Your job is to build a large, organized library of high-quality stock images for our platform. This is a one-time project, but if your work is excellent, there may be more work in the future.
What You Will Do
- Select the best stock images for different event types, including: markets, concerts, music festivals, food and drink events, cultural celebrations, holidays, outdoor activities, community events, sports, art, theatre, and more
- Make sure the images represent different parts of the world. For example, a market in Germany should look different from a market in Thailand or Morocco
- Images must be selected from Unsplash (including Unsplash+ premium content), Pexels, or Pixabay
- Send us the URLs for each image you select, organized by category in a clear format (spreadsheet or document)
- You do NOT need to download any images or create accounts on these platforms. We have the accounts and will handle all downloads. You only need to find and select the images
What We Are Looking For
- Strong knowledge of professional photography and what makes a high-quality image
- A good eye for composition, authenticity, and cultural accuracy
- Ability to recognize images that look amateur or do not represent a culture or place correctly
- Experience with stock image platforms is a plus
- Good organizational skills- this project involves a large number of images across many categories
Payment Structure
Trial phase: You will first complete a paid trial of 25 images ($10 USD) to ensure quality expectations are aligned before proceeding with the full project.
Full project: $75 USD for a completed set of 175 approved stock images across pre-set event categories.
What "approved" means
- Images must meet our quality standards for composition, authenticity, and relevance
- We will provide you with our existing stock image database so you can understand the quality and style we are looking for and avoid selecting duplicate images
- Images that do not meet standards will need to be replaced
- Payment is made when all 175 images are approved, not just submitted
- We will provide clear feedback on any images that need to be replaced
