Paid per completed task. The listed range is $30–$100 per hour equivalent, depending on how many tasks you complete and how quickly. A weekly minimum number of tasks applies.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Neural Sourcing is sharing an open contract role from micro1, an AI training data company. You'll help train the next generation of AI systems by creating realistic, challenging coding tasks for AI models to solve, and building the automated checks that grade them. No prior AI experience is required. Your backend engineering knowledge is what matters.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Create coding tasks for AI models, such as feature implementation and bug fixes
• Build deterministic verifiers that accept valid solutions and reject incorrect ones
• Review code and test it for correctness

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong backend experience in Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++ or similar
• A track record of building scalable services and APIs
• Comfort with debugging, performance work and automated testing
• Solid code review instincts

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience fixing hard bugs and system bottlenecks
• Refactoring and building complex features in large codebases
• Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures and computer science fundamentals
• Clear analytical and technical communication skills
