As an AI Video Data Collection Contributor, you will record natural household activities from a first-person perspective using a smartphone mounted on a head strap. The collected data will help train and improve next-generation AI technologies.
Participants may record everyday household activities such as:
- Laundry and clothing organization
- Home and room cleaning
- Kitchen cleaning (non-cooking activities)
- Bathroom cleaning
- Plant care
- Pet care
- Closet organization
- Garage and storage organization
Activities should be performed naturally and realistically in a home environment.
Participants must use one of the following devices:
- iPhone 11 or newer
- Google Pixel 6 or newer
- Samsung Galaxy S21+ models only
To ensure recordings meet project standards, participants must follow these guidelines:
- Phone must be securely mounted on the forehead using a head strap
- Recordings must be captured from a first-person POV (egocentric perspective)
- Camera angle should be approximately 45° downward
- Hands must remain visible throughout the activity
- Toes should be visible while standing still
- Each recording session must be at least 2 minutes long
- Activities should be performed naturally and realistically
- Only standing or walking activities are permitted
- Seated recordings are not allowed
Recordings may be rejected for any of the following reasons:
- Poor lighting conditions
- Unstable or shaky footage
- Incorrect camera angle
- Hands not visible during activities
- Seated activities
- Staged, inactive, or unrealistic behavior
- Recordings shorter than 2 minutes
- Obstructed camera view
- Inappropriate or prohibited content
