TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN RE: ZUKISWA RAMPEDI ID:- This is to certify that the abovementioned has been working at MES Impilo since 2018. Impilo is the Health programme of MES and consisted of: a) A Hospice with a 5-15 bed Inpatient Unit which was the only hospice for homeless people with terminal disease. b) Drug-resistant TB programme in association with the Hospice and Palliative Care Association where patients were visited at home to adhere to completion of long-term treatment. c) Outreach Team: through a mobile clinic different sites in region F were visited weekly for health education and TB and HIV screening. Clients were referred to local clinics and followed-up for adherence. Due to termination of funding the above programmes had to close at the end of July 2019. Zukiswa is a Community Health Careworker who worked as a volunteer in the DRTB programme and as a Linkage officer for the HIV/TB Outreach programme since Sept 2018. My best wishes accompany Zukiswa as a dedicated Care Worker. She has worked under difficult circumstances and was always reliable and professional in fulfilling her duties.
