I began working with a scrap metal business in April 2017. The client was looking to increase more
leads with a limited advertising budget. Our baseline was 46 conversions at a rate of 2.07%, and
average cost per lead of $139.15.
One of my first initiatives was to audit Conversion Tracking and implement phone call tracking. I
also cut out a lot of waste by reorganizing the account structure, updating campaign settings,
testing ad copy, and optimizing keywords. We immediately began seeing results.
By September 2017, the campaigns generated 250 conversions at 11.26% conversion rate.
Additionally, the average cost per lead dropped down to $29.36.
