People Are Destroying Their Cars To Go Over This Man’s Property

Everybody; you and me alike, live in a neighborhood in the end. Maybe you have issues with your neighbors and you think to yourself, I have the worse neighbors! Well, don’t be so sure. After hearing this story, you’ll be thankful for your neighbors…

Being a one huge neighborhood that it is, America has the craziest stories about our living environment. One women we talked to, told us a story of a piece of land which was owned by her father and how it created a crisis for the entire neighborhood.

Wanting to share her story on reddit, she wrote:
We live in a small private neighbourhood, the neighbours are related to us more or less (distant relatives). Everybody here is a complete nutjob. They were constantly arguing over decades before me or my brother were even born. Our property line is kinda like a square and it is surrounded by road from two sides. Keep in mind that on one part of the road we let our neighbours use 1 square meter of the land so they could use the road safer and not damage our property.”

However, neighbors didn’t want peace. They wanted problems, always… As a result, a simple inconvenience that could have easily been avoided turned into an ongoing crisis. Here’s how:
-
(image)
This fight went on for years. No one found a solution that would suit everyone best and they kept hitting and damaging the fence. Yet the biggest blow would come later.
-

One day, neigbors ordered a massive truck filled with tons of wood. That huge truck ran over their fence, yet nobody offered or agreed to pay for the damage. The woman was shocked but her father’s statement shocked her even more:
-

She says;
“Our fence is made out of multiple bushes, trees and a little bit of metal fence too. These plants were now completely destroyed and a part of metal fence completely bent. We had to replant these plants and place a new metal fence. My father told me this was not the first time this happened but actually third. I couldn’t believe it when I heard this. So this is where the revenge begins.”

And some revenge it was… Being a police officer, the woman’s father had little to shy away from. So he took the reins in his hands. He decided to dig up the property line marker and fill the whole are with barrels full of rocks. The result?

Shortly after this, three of the unsuspecting neighbors ran into this obstacle and damaged their vehicles as a result of running onto the barrels. Vengeance was indeed a dish served cold. Yet the father was not done with it.
-

Over the next year, the neighbors hit those barrels countless times, to the point that the barrels were now worthless. Talk about vengeance and talk about spite, right? Yet, the father was still not done and he wanted to teach them all a lesson or prevent them all together.

Engineer mode was on. He bought cement, sand and metal poles. It was the time to build an indestructible obstacle that would put an end to this madness or reck the cars for good this time. The woman tells the story of what he did.

Fondly narrating what was going in his mind, she tells us:
“One peaceful afternoon my father and I cemented that whole part of the land and placed some lovely flowers on top. So when they hit the concrete they can smell our flowers of victory/defeat.”
-

You can guess what happened from there on. Five cars were wrecked in total because of the new concrete fence her father built and surprisingly, no one came knocking on the door. Apparently, everybody was aware that it was their mistake.

You’d think that sweet victory story would be the end of it, yet she shares the rest of the story with us. Through the last bits she has to say, we understand that they are her sweet, related neighbors after all, despite the madness. Here’s what she has to say about the whole thing:

“Some of them are really bad drivers. But they got used to it after a while. There is one neighbor that was drunk most of the time. I wouldn’t say they were drunk driving but merely just turned too soon.”
