The user can set the room temperature to its own choice. The best thing is that it can shut off all ACs automatically if it detects zero occupancy in a room or when the windows are open; thereby, it functions to save power and maintain AC lifetime. c) Alarm System: is designed to allow users for communicating and interfacing motion sensors, access control and fire alarm systems and to provide control of all alarms to be activated whenever needed. d) Access Control System: By installing E-locks, the user will not require to buy access control system. Since BEE controllers have built-in secure access control functions with no hassle of carrying keys, the user will be able to monitor and control all the doors and windows and can set the alarms when he/she is sleeping or travelling and so on. Also, it empowers the user to guide others on how to enter the home if and when the user is not present. e) Parking Barrier: By using BEE solution mobile app and touch screen, the user can open and close the door with no requirement of carrying parking remote control. f) Curtail Control: will allow users to raise and lower window shades with the touch of a button. Preset scenarios can be programmed to set the shades and to raise and lower them for saving energy. g) Skylights, Fresh Air & Ventilation Fans: By using BEE Solution applications and touch screen, the user will be able to control all the windows, skylights, and ceiling fans in a home with a preset sequence. This also allows the user to control fresh air flow whenever needed. Furthermore, the user can set his/her scenario and sequence of operations using timers. h) TV Control: By using BEE Solutions, the user will be able to record the standard TV remote control on the touch screen after learning it and can control TV from the recorded screen. i) Power Meter: will allow the users to calculate total consumption off each area by installing PX 10 module. j) Intercom: will allow the user to watch the guests and open the gate using the touch screen or mobile app but this will be possible when the intercom is connected to the access control system. k) IP Telephone: BEE Solution VoIP Server will enable the user to use touch screen as an IP telephone which will save the cost. l) Smart Irrigation: will allow the user to set the irrigation program suitable to variety of plants by using BEE Solution Controller connected with precipitation and moisture sensors for soil. The system automatically shuts off the sprinkler system during raining to avoid wastage of additional water. The system even maintains the landscape for the user when he/she is away, in business place, or travelling. m) Smart Kitchen: will allow the user to program appliances in a way that they turn on and function for certain period during daytime or night and shut off after a certain set time period. The user can control these appliances using mobile app or computer software which not only saves time but also makes it comfortable working in kitchen. n) Elderly Home: is designed to make the monitoring of old parents easy for the user by using BEE Solution sensors and apps. Our system allows the user to keep checking on them, and monitoring their health online. The system will alarm the user if it is time of getting their medicine. Also, there will be alerts if they face problems of blood pressure, heart rate, pulse, and skin temperature. 2. Business Buildings Since the goal of BEE solutions is to optimize the performance of buildings in terms of cost and energy, this offers exclusive benefits for business buildings: a) Air Conditioning Control: will monitor the occupancy of all rooms and to run only ACs during the active working time (In case if the room is vacant for certain duration which can be set during configuration process, the air conditioning will turn to fan mode until the room is vacant again). b) Fire Alarm: can be displayed on screen. c) Lighting control: BEE Controller when connected with motion sensors will allow the user to control all LED lighting level (dimming). For example, if there is nobody in the office for 15 minutes, the lighting level will be automatically decreased to 30%. When there is any other source of lighting in the office, the automatic dimming function works and saves the energy using LDR. d) Office curtains control: will allow the user to control the curtains either by using touch screen or by setting a scenario that could be based on light intensity or to be operated in certain time. e) Access control: will allow the users to open office door remotely from the screen. This covers the security perspective also when the system enables the administration to allow authorized access only to building, check the transactions history, and open all the doors for evacuation purposes as well as the capability of system to be connected with fire alarms system. f) Meeting room reservation and events scheduling: BEE System empowers the employees to book their meeting rooms either by using mobile app or from well-mounted touch screen. This facilitates organizing work flow. g) Housekeeping & Service: The user can request housekeeping and services by using the screen. h) Music: BEE System allows the user to create a music list to be played. i) Fan Control: The user can control the ceiling fan using the screen and set a timer to work in a certain period. j) Remote Control: allows the user to control any device including TV remotely by using the screen. k) Water and electricity metering: for each office separately. l) Fixed Scenarios: The user can program certain procedures to be carried out in a particular sequence and recall it with one touch or to be recalled automatically in a certain time. These scenarios possibly are: 1) Travelling: I. Shut off all water and gas sources. II. Shut off all electrical outlet power except refrigerator and security systems. III. Lock all doors. IV. Hotel Solutions a) Guest Room Management: is a solution to manage and supervise the hotel and guarantee the highest standard of service and control services without overlooking the environmental aspect. BEE’s Guest Room Management System focuses on two main aspects: the supervision managed by Hotel personnel, and the management of the room by the Customer. Also, our System Architecture consists of three levels: Control Level, Management Level and Service Level to reduce the operating costs, which will reflect positively on the environment and ROI, and increase guests' control and comfort. b) Guest Control: Touch screen panel will enable the guest to control and use hotel facilities as follows: Lights on/off Daytime lighting scene Night lighting scene (leave dimmable bedside lights on a predefined level) Curtains control: Open& Close. Occupancy indication. Housekeeping request: this system will help the housekeeping to determine whether the room is occupied or vacant. Also, the guest can schedule the cleaning time from the screen and put “don’t disturb” message on the door which will automatically disconnect the room bell. The FCU motor speed control based on temperature deviation. The room door can be opened remotely from the screen for any visitor with authorized access. Internet username and password will be sent to the guest via screen. The cooling system would be turned off to save energy in case of open windows. Taxi request, using the touch screen, will enable the guest to schedule the taxi rides without the needs to call the reception. Room service: The guest can easily find the menu of the hotel’s restaurant, select the food from the screen and get the estimated delivery time along with adding the order to the room bill. Schedule massages session, which will be sent automatically to the health club. Valet parking request, which allows the guest to request the valet parking team to bring his car Do not disturb - turns on an indicator light outside of guest room. Service request which turns on an indicator light outside of guest room and activates request at reception. Invoice checking. Safe box rest. Announcing and messaging from the hotel reception. Safety & Security alarms: The screen will display these alarms. Special requests can be submitted to the reception through the screen. Quality survey: The guest can leave his review and service evaluation which will be recorded on the server for analysis and improvement. The hotel background music can be played in the room through the screen and it will be deactivated automatically in case of any voice evacuation message or alarm. Bathroom water temperature control: The guest can set the bathroom water temperature from the screen. Weight scale once connected with the system, will display the weight on the screen for monitoring. IP telephone: Using Bee’s VoIP Server will allow the guest to use the touch screen as an IP Telephone which will save more cost. c) Hotel Supervision & Control: The hotel software will enable the admin to have a full control on all installed solutions such as: Water consumption can be measured for each guest room. Electricity consumption can be measured for each guest room. Open and lock the room door remotely. Switch On/Off all lights. Enable and disable all power outlets. Shut off the water source. Check the room occupancy. Reset the save box password. Check the temperature set-point. Create and change the initial scenarios. d) Scenario Examples: *When the Guest Room is checked in, and the guest enters the room, the “Comfort Scenario” will be activated: Welcome lighting is turned on. Air-conditioning set-point is lowered to predefined comfort level. All lighting and power sockets are enabled. Room status is updated at the reception desk along with the housekeeping office. *When keycard is removed while the room remains occupied, following will take place: Lighting is gradually dimming until turned off after a pre-set delay time. Air-conditioning set-point is changed to energy-saving level Electricity is disabled in selected power sockets Room status is updated in the Main User Interface (in reception) *When the Room is not booked and keycard is used to enter the room, the “Staff Scenario" will take place: Pre-set lighting is turned on Air-conditioning fan is working. Selected power sockets are enabled.
