Major Reasons for Garbage Increase Around the World Daily
Garbage around the world has been increasing at an alarming rate, due to a variety of
reasons, which is filling the planet Earth with huge garbage and filth heaps. Moreover,
the practice of throwing garbage in unorganized ways is illegal if lawfully speaking, and
unethical in terms of morals. Likewise, the increasing rate of construction projects has
already costed, and continues to cost communities millions of dollars annually, along
with depicting a bad picture of the environment. Such activities include leaving objects
overflowing next to waste bins, intentional dumping of objects from vehicles, and
throwing items or wrappers on the roadside show immoral behavior. And also results in
building huge heaps of litter. However, this specific habit of littering should be taken
seriously, as it not just effects the environment, but also the people living on it. There are
several factors that can be considered as the main reason behind increasing garbage
around the world, including rising construction projects, increasing use of packaged
goods, and recycling organizations that are not financially supported, and mostly
neglected.
It is significant to mention that rising construction projects play a vital part in
contributing to the current environmental problems. These projects leave the place
cluttered with a lot of litter wherever they operate. In addition, the common waste
materials produced through these projects are wood pieces, metals, plastics, concrete
rubble, cardboard, and paper. All of these materials are difficult to get rid of, or recycle
and in turn contribute to the environmental pollution. Therefore, the government needs
to impose huge fines on littering garbage by construction industries’ projects.
Similarly, the packaged products may seem unharmful to get effected from, but
they impose a significant negative impact on the environment, if not treated.
People around the world have been changing their eating habits drastically and have
shifted towards packaged food products, rather than organic food. Due to the excessive
use of packaged items, the garbage is increasing. For instance, when someone uses frozen
steaks and throws away the box in litter, they somehow contribute to pollution. Hence, it
can be acknowledged that if everyone in the society uses packaged food, the quantity of
litter would rocket up compared to people who use organic food without plastic or
cardboard packaging. Therefore, it is essential that people should properly dispose of their
packaged foods and reduce garbage.
Furthermore, the neglection and denial of giving recycling organizations their
utmost importance, also contributes in a contaminated environment. Where recycling is
defined as the reuse of dumped products into useful resources, for the betterment of the
society; our government is unaware of the importance of these recycling organizations,
and how important it is to financially support such organizations, for if not supported, this
might lead to greater implications in the environment.
Therefore, the government needs to financially support any emerging recycling
company, for the benefits that come along, are highly valued.
In conclusion, the planet Earth is facing multiple causes for its distortion, the
main reason being humans and their activities, which include construction projects,
packaged foods, and the denial and neglection of financially supporting important
recycling companies. To minimize the detrimental effects of dumping, one needs to bring
a change in his/her consumption behaviors, emphasize on the importance of recycling,
and try to reduce the waste production as much as possible. Only then, one can begin to
minimize the planet Earth’s emissions and degradation.
