Transitioning from Brokenness to Wholeness
By V. Taybron
If you knew that your purpose was to heal the broken, would you? When Ms. Tiffany Lee was asked this question she blurted out a resounding, “yes!” Healing the broken is what she was created to do. Ms. Tiffany Lee discovered her purpose in 2006 while serving as a program director, “I realized a lot of people felt broken, especially women. These women gravitated towards me, spilling their life stories. This experience revealed to me that I was here to help others.”
Preparing for her life’s mission as a healer started when Tiffany was a small child. She watched her maternal grandparents lovingly serve others without question. These loving grandparents believed is serving people mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. “It’s better to give than to receive,” said her Grandmother. It was the mindset of servant leadership that was instilled in Tiffany and that part of her continued to grow. Now she serves the masses through her practice and has a heart that is making a difference in the lives of many.
Ms. Tiffany Lee owns a thriving Behavioral Health practice. This practice serves the broken and restores them to wholeness through a series of specialized programs. Her clients range from ages 4 to 89 years old with a verifiable behavior diagnosis. These diagnoses can range from ADHD to Bi-Polar Disorder and sometimes even substance abuse. Tiffany has a team of highly qualified psychiatrists and counselors that diligently serve their patients. “I’m the kind of leader that is hands on. The client’s opinion is of the utmost importance. I check in and if they are pleased with the services to ensure they are getting the full benefit of the program.” Ms. Tiffany Lee is also hands on with her staff members holding frequent interviews and check-ins with each department of the company.
When it comes to achieving mental wholeness in one’s life Ms. Tiffany Lee believes that we should never overlook the symptoms of a possible disorder. “There are many different types of illnesses. A person might have a serious addiction to spending and be considered a shopaholic but in order to heal we must own our disorders. Ownership is the key to getting help.” The next move for Ms. Tiffany Lee is expansion. She plans to add an additional program to her services while simultaneously opening up a day treatment facility that includes a lab. Tiffany is a woman that is committed to getting results in her patients. “We cannot be effective without passion and a love for people,” says Tiffany. This commitment to the betterment of others is the key that makes her company great. Congratulations Tiffany Lee for being an Atlanta 2018 Woman of the Year.
