The sun's starting to shine and we're all getting ready to put our clocks forward this Sunday, which means a beautiful extra hour of spring and summer sunshine coming our way. For locals down south, it's a great time of year. There are beaches to see, fun events to attend, and cafes to relax at. Down at Aldinga, there's been much ado about the Old Coach Roadworks, so heading into this sunny season many might be wondering - what about Fridays After Five?! Welcome to Fridays After Five (source: @fridaysafter5aldinga) large image For those not in the know, Fridays After Five is a weekly Summer (and Spring) market on Old Coach Road at Aldinga. It's a lane-way market that takes place beside Home Grain Bakery, Maxwell's Grocery, and Gladys on Sea. There's food, wine, coffee, local makers, and music. Fear not about the roadworks, because Fridays After Five will soon be back in full swing. The Grand Opening will be taking place on November 3rd. Festivities will kick off at 5 PM, and the market will be open until 9 PM. Entry is free, but you definitely want to bring some money to enjoy all the local offerings - especially if Aldinga isn't somewhere you frequent. This market will be held every Friday! There will be a bouncy castle and other fun activities! Of course, grown-ups can have some fun too, dancing to Aidan 'Jazzy' Jones' wonderful music, or later, the Littlefish Roots Reggae.
