Polly easily fell in love with Derek, everyone does. Derek loves being in the office. His favorite part of his job is getting to talk to others face to face everyday. Recently Derek has been coming home stoic. At the dinner table he pushes his food around, his mind seems elsewhere. Since his company fired all of their assistants, most of his coworkers have been moving to remote work. There was no reason to be in the office anymore. Derek is considering remote work, but doesn’t want to be home alone. Polly has no choice but to go into work, being a surgeon, her hours are erratic.
