● ● ● ● ● ● ● We wanted to add new designs to our store and we don’t have a designer in house As a solution to this, I thought about reaching out to Designers through social media groups This was my pitch - collaborate with us to make new designs, get royalties and make lots of impact I only posted this in 2 groups - a FB group of Designers and a Google group of Designers for Good - got over 50 designers interested and onboarded 20 designers to contribute their designs Benefits of this ○ We get cool new creative designs from many contributors - so the designs are crowdsourced ○ We got all the designers to create their forests and post about the collaboration on social - meaning instant awareness and tapping to their networks How can we scale this? ○ Post on more Designer groups ○ Reconnect with designers we had onboarded - send them their royalties and update their impact, encourage another promotion push and more new designs How can we replicate this? ○ There are more niches - Youtube creators, musicians, fashion models - we can create similar campaigns for each one of them Here’s the job posting in Designer Gigs for Good Google Group and Designers for Good Facebook Group.
