Abstract – Goods Delivery system is an Android
application that will provide us the collaborative platform.
The purpose of this system is to develop an application
that will provide the transportation and delivering of
goods to door to door services within the city on the quick
basis of timing as the booking is made. This will include
the tracking system of the booking through which the
delivery persons can reach to the customer’s pickup
location and drop the material/goods at the destination
location according to customer. It is for now is an intracity that connects customers with several vehicles to
efficiently move goods and with the help of this
application there is no need to locate a driver or haggling
with him on the transport cost. Simply download the app
and user get consistent access to a goods transport vehicle
– that is what our application assures.
The fare structure is transparent and is framed to
encourage efficiency from both the parties. Neither the
driver nor the customer want to keep each other waiting.
The fare is worked out on the basis of distance and
journey time.

Requirements of the customers at their convenience. The
current system is manual and it is time-consuming. It is also
cost-ineffective, and the average return is low and
diminishing.
The systems which are currently present works on the
large scale, so they miss the little and important necessity of
the people for door to door delivering of goods. So this project
focusing on that particular part. The major challenges for this
project is the manually working of the system, business
modules, managing of the authenticated users and trusted
delivery boys, safety of the goods from start to end.
-
A. Goals or objective:
To provide faster accessibility of transportation.
To provide on time delivery.
To provide hand on service.
To reduce physical and mental efforts of customers for
booking a vehicle.
II. LITERATURE SURVEY
“Logistic and Supply Chain” – The findings we got from
this paper is of the business methods of the transportations
services. This paper gave the details description of the
warehousing transportation, packing system services,
delivery system and how these services works as a market.
This paper also gave the process flow for the development of
these services in the future market. This paper finding helps to
create business modules for this projects. [1]
I. INTRODUCTION
The main motive of the Goods delivery system is to provide
hand on delivering/transportation of general goods/materials
from door to door according to the requirement of the
customers at reasonable charges.
The goods delivery is the application where customer can
book the vehicles for delivering, as per their requirements of
goods while booking. But first user had to connect with
system by login on to the application. They can book the
vehicles for moving the goods from pick up location to the
destination location. It allows the customer when they are
booking their vehicle they can also manage and can also
cancel the booking. The user will get notified about the details
of delivery boy and his mobile number so that they can
communicate with him accordingly.
Regular updates will be provided to the user so that they can
aware about the booking requirements and booking status.
The user can also give their suggestions and queries in the
feedback form and can give the ratings to the delivery boy
according to the performance. This goods project deals with
an online system designed for booking vehicle as per the
“Operation search” – The following paper is about, how the
food deliveries companies works how they collaborate with
hotels and restaurants and how the connection made between
delivery boy and users. This paper also shows that whenever
any new emerging delivery company comes in market how the
hotels deals with that. Finding by the paper will helps to make
connection with delivery boys and help to connect user and
delivery boy as well for the proposed project. [2]

delivery transportation in the USA. This app provide services
of delivery from door to door of home. This is one of the good
app for the transportation in USA. (The services of this
application is particular limited within the country). So we are
taking the reference to make this new application within the
city. [3]
“LYNK app” – LYNK application is also works on the
goods delivery transportation but in India, but this app
provide services in Mumbai and Chennai. This app has a
drawbacks in the business module. And the user reviews for
this application was also quite negative. As this application
does not provide services in Nagpur, so we are taking the
reference to make this new application within the city, and try
to overcome the drawback LYNK app. [4]
“Transport Management” - The finding we got in this
paper is to how the vehicle utilisation, transport optimisation
and the implementation of ‘green’ transport management
measures within the freight industry how they minimise the
negative impact of road freight transport on the environment.
This paper gave the detailed description of comparison of
vehicle size and weight restrictions, incompatibility of vehicle
and products and handling packing requirements. This finding
helps us to make decide the price as per vehicle and size of
products to be delivered. [5]
“Intelligent Transportation Systems” - The finding in this
paper is that the comparison of many technologies era in
transportation. In this they discuss about the vehicle data
collection s and most important how we can detect the
vehicles. Technologies used fir detection of vehicles. This
finding helps us in tracking the vehicles in our system. [6]
III. PROPOSED WORK
Fig. 1 Flowchart for Goods Delivery System
The Goods Delivery System is same as the Online Food
Ordering System and this application will helpful for
connecting customers with several vehicles to efficiently
move goods. The complete flow of the system and the
functional modules of the system are as follows:
The following fig.1 shows the flow of the system that, how
the processes is linked with each other after completion of
every steps from the starting to end while using this
application.
A. Flow of the System :
B. Functional Modules:
There are separate login sections for Admin, User and
Delivery boy. Every new user need to register first and
then only they can use the system. After login, each user
can make their booking, select item type, vehicle type,
select pick up - drop point location and then check
availability of vehicle. Then delivery boy can deliver
goods and user receives delivery and then user can
make
payment,
give
feedback.
The whole system is divided into the five modules.
They are Registration Module, Login Module, Search
Vehicle Module, Payment Module, Manage Booking
Module and Feedback Module.
1) Registration Module:
This module includes the registration for newly
customers as well as for the newly drivers. There will
be a seperate registration page for user as well as for
drivers. Registration page includes basic details like
name, phone no. and password, etc.

customer will search the vehicle. And then they will
choose the pickup and drop up location. And after
the location is set they will confirm the booking.
[10]
[11]
4) Payment Module:
[12]
[13]
In this module, the payment will generated

can payment by online payment and by giving cash.
[14]
5) Manage Booking Module:
In this module the user can cancel the booking if any
problem occur and also they can book other vehicle
for them. The user as well as driver can cancel the
booking if any problem occur to them.
6) Feedback Module:
In this module, the customer will give the feedback
to the drivers and the ratings. By this module we get
to know, our services are liked by user or not.
CONCLUSION
The suggested system helps in building the system for
delivering the goods online and also focuses on tracking of
vehicle in which goods to be placed for safety purpose. From
this android application, the user can easily book the transport
vehicle for moving their Goods from one destination to
another. This application will also provide the goods delivery
