Hello, crystal friends!
So, you’ve gotten that pretty package, your crystals are all neatly labeled
but something is missing. What is it? Suddenly, you realize that you’ve
forgotten to charge them. But…you don’t know how to do so.
That’s okay. That’s what we’re going to talk about today.
So, a lot of the steps to charging crystals are going to coincide with how
you cleanse them, so be mindful that you’re aware of what you’re trying to
do.
You could place them under a full moon and leave them sitting out
overnight so that they can soak up all of that lunar energy. If you’re afraid of
leaving them out overnight then leaving them on a windowsill will
accomplish the same thing.
Moon water is also a pretty good way to charge them too. Either soak them
in moon water for an hour or pour it over top. But, please remember, that
not all crystals are water friendly.
If you really want a good charge then you’re going to have to bury it. Pick
out a good spot and dig a small hole, placing the dirt inside of an
earthenware container with a lid. Put the crystals inside the container then
rebury it. Mark the spot then leave it there for a week.
You can also place them in a singing bowl and make it sing. This is called a
sound bath and is very effective.
While you can use regular salt for this next step, sea salt is the best option.
Simply immerse the crystal in a bowl of salt and leave it overnight, but
avoid doing it with crystals that are scratched easily as you don’t want to
damage them.
If you want to really amp your crystal then connect them to your sprit guide
or deities. Simply ask them to charge the crystal during your normal
sessions and see if they will.
The easiest method is to perform a cleansing charge on the crystal. Picture
filling the crystal with beautiful, healing light that chases away all of the old
negative thoughts left in there.
And there you have it! Feel free to let me know what your favorite method
is and I’ll share mine.
