Home- Lotus Pipes & RockDrills Manufacturing Co. is a multinational distributor driver company. We have recently formulated a subsidiary in the United States, Lotus Pipes and Rockdrills USA Ltd., that is focused on bringing our impeccable quality standards and value to the North American market. Our PVC pipes and rock drilling tools divisions manufacture products for Exploration, Geothermal Drilling, Oil & Gas, Drill & Blast Mining, Environmental, and Water Well industries. Since 1986 we have been working to provide customers products that provide both exceptional quality and value. 2. About us - Since our foundation, Lotus Pipes & RockDrills Manufacturing Co., has existed in order to supply our customers with products of incredibly high quality at competitive prices. Our secret stems from our vast experience in the water well and global drilling industry, providing us with unique perspectives that have been accrued over time and passed on to our valued customers. In order to truly serve our customers needs, we have designed products for a majority of the industry throughout our existence. These products include: rock drilling tools & equipment, Lotus DTH hammers & button bits, Lotus Tricone Bits, Lotus rigid PVC (uPVC) pipes, and Environmental PVC well products and accessories. We specialize in manufacturing PVC risers/casings, screens and pre-pack well screens for monitoring well and other environmental well application for North American Market, as well as DTH Hammers and Buttons Bits.. This expansive array of offerings has provided us with an innate knowledge of our customers needs, allowing us to cement the Lotus name as an industry leader who have the proven versatility to accomplish any problem. While versatility is an important cornerstone of our company, our specialty can be found in our PVC pipes and rock drilling tools. It is in these two industries where Lotus is really able to set new standards with our state of the art pipe extrusion technology and sophisticated machinery. Our production processes not only meet DIN, ASTM, BS, and IS international standards, but also attempt to deliver completely unique products that improve our customer's’ efficiency. 3.Our History - 1986 Originally beginning in 1986 as Shakti Mining Equipments, 5 brothers in the Varma family (Raj,...) decided they wanted to found a company that functioned as a manufacturer and exporter of the widest range of Crushing & Screening Plants and Road Compaction & Material Handling Equipments, which covered a vast spectrum of the Mining & Construction Equipment field. They found major success in their native and foreign lands and built a brand with a long and reputed history in the construction, mining, rock drilling and PVC pipe industry. A lot has changed since those early days in Nasik city, Maharashtra, India, with the brothers going on to find individual success. Each has kept their passion for their businesses and dedication to retaining the family atmosphere though, which were the hallmarks of their group success. 2000 One of the brothers, Raj Varma, the founder of Kamal Import Export Inc., had personal ambitions to create his own firm in the industry in order to satisfy his inventive entrepreneurial spirit. Due to the knowledge that he had amassed during his time as the Export Director for Shakti Mining Equipments, he decided to form his own trading company in 2000 named Kamal Import Export Inc. His decision to remain in the industry allowed him to continue to build relationships with with consumers in a variety of segments. Through conversations and accumulated knowledge over the years, he began to ascertain that the industry was lacking a firm that was attempting to push the envelope with innovative processes that would reduce costs and keep quality standards high. He realized that his combination of knowledge in drilling industry production and exporting could be leveraged into solving this problem. 2006 In 2006 he created a branch in his business that would specialize in the manufacturing of PVC pipes & rock drilling tools with the brand name Lotus. Mr. Varma strategically selected a factory location that was only 20 miles from the head office building, in order to ensure easy communication and overview of the new business branch. The factory premise was to be named the Lotus Enclave, and featured an area large enough to manufacture all of their products in house. Included in this large premise were standard industry machines, which Lotus had purchased in an attempt to show their commitment to succeeding in this manufacturing venture. These machines included a pipe extruder machine, CNC Lathe machine for threading, and a Slotting machine which are all integral in producing the quality products Lotus has become known for. Lotus’ products were extremely well received by customers, leading to a massive expansion of the company due primarily to word of mouth sales. The ability to manufacture products to global industry standards, while maintaining competitive prices created a formula to produce products that are unrivalled by competitors. Since the decision to expand into manufacturing, Lotus Pipes and Rock Drills’ products can be found in 32 countries throughout the world. This amount of growth in a relatively short period of time is a testament to the firm’s intense focus on improving their core competencies and delivering this value to their consumers. 2017 Now in 2017, Lotus Pipes and Rock Drills has set their sites on penetrating North American market, founding a subsidiary firm in America’s production heartland, Cleveland, Ohio. Lotus Pipes and Rockdrills USA Ltd. is now focused on bringing their quality standards and value to the American consumer, so that they might experience Mr. Varma’s vision as well. 4.Mission - Lotus Pipes and Rockdrills Manufacturing Co. has a mission to expand our family, inviting our various customers throughout the world to become a part. Our company was founded by family and it is the only way we know how to do business. We hold our values in extremely high regard, and use them as a compass to guide all of the decisions that we make. The relationships that we have been lucky enough to make throughout our time in the drilling industry are what have brought us such success and it is for this reason Lotus has such a flourishing family. We are committed to the satisfaction of anyone that interacts with a Lotus product, and anticipate a long and prosperous relationship with them. 5.Vission - We attempt to accomplish our mission by building tangible relationships with all of our clients. This fosters a level of honesty, trust, and open communication unparalleled in the industry. Through these relationships we are able to overcome any problems that may arise together, allowing everyone to prosper. Lotus’ Pipes and Rockdrills contain tremendous quality and value to ensure that jobs are successfully completed the first time. 6.Temperature De-Rating Table Once cement and grout has been poured to stabilize a Lotus PVC pipe, the heat which is generated from this process can at times have a negative impact on the PVC’s integrity. When performing at these elevated temperatures, the table below reflects the potential derating factor on a PVC’s Collapse Pressure, Burst Pressure, and Tensile Strength. 7.Become a Distributor page - Why distribute Lotus Products? We are also able to manufacture products to customer specifications, producing custom designs to meet their needs. Shipping Reliability Our products are housed in warehouses throughout the United States, providing us with the ability to fulfill our customers orders in a reasonable time frame. All PVC screens and casings, up to 8 inch diameter, are hermetically sealed in polyethylene bags on both sides prior to shipment. PVC screens and casings are shipped in double walled cardboard boxes or skidded and wrapped in plastic with a color coded label containing a full description of the product and quantities. The label indicates the number of pieces, the diameter of the pipe, and the threads per inch, as well as a picture of the product.
