Best RTX 30 series gaming laptops 2021
In this day and age, having a laptop that runs any current and next-gen video game with
the finest settings is every gamer’s dream. Although last year's gaming laptops rarely
touched that level of perfection, we might have a proper chance this time around with
the help of Nvidia's powerful 3000 series GPUs and AMD’s fast and elegant processors.
3000 series are up and running
Personally, I wasn't that excited about gaming laptops as I believed that providers might
not be able to build a laptop running the latest GPUs. But it is happening and we got our
first look at the RTX 3000 series gaming laptop at CES 2021.
Not only was I impressed by the sheer volume of laptop enhancements this year but
also by the rumored price points that I have heard. I won't be talking about the prices in
this article as they are unofficial but I will be giving my top 6 picks from CES 2021 and
why they are the best RTS 3000 series gaming laptops of the year.
Let's talk about the best ones
Let’s get right into it. These six gaming laptops have a class of their own. From CPU to
GPU and the build itself show how much they have improved over the last year. Before
starting it off with my first pick, I would like to tell you that this list will showcase gaming
laptops that have RTX 3000 series GPU installed in them.
In my list of the Best RTX 30 series gaming laptops 2021, I have not been able to rank
these devices as we have not yet gotten the right look at them and their benchmarks. I
will just be giving you my 6 picks from the CES 2021. So, this list of gaming laptops was
made keeping in mind the RTX 3000 series.
Lenovo Legion 5 Pro
Lenovo is labeling its new lines of laptops for 2021 as futuristic. Although they are one
of the providers who have managed to implement both the Ryzen 5000 series
processor and Nvidia's 3000 series GPUs, they don't have the wide variety that ASUS
has offered.
We haven't got a hand on it yet and they are looking to be fine laptops, the one that
deserves to be on our list of the best laptops but surely it will depend on the price of this
one. Because the latest AMD processors and Nvidia GPUs arent cheap.
It will definitely go down to who is selling at a cheaper price. Now let’s look at the
attributes of these devices.
Performance
I will be reviewing this device's performance as I get my hands on it, so let's just leave it
for now.

Lenovo legion 5 Pro comes with a NVIDIA RTX 3060/3070 graphics card. This is a huge
boost as I have said before that I wasn't expecting them to have the latest GPUs.
Battery
The battery life is rumored to be around 10-15 hr which comes as a hurdle as ASUS
ROG is claiming that their series of gaming laptops will offer a battery timing of upto
18-20 hrs which is just amazing.
Pros
● Comes with a powerful RTX 3060/3070 GPU

Acer Triton SE
Acer Triton SE is a 14 inch gaming laptop. It has one thing that is likable that it shows
don't tell. The build of this device looks far from a gaming laptop with just a logo on the
back top. But it has everything else which is required to be a top notch gaming laptop in
2021.
One thing that I was disappointed in is that ASUS has gone with an intel processor
where all the other companies are preferring AMD. And it is true, AMD is the better when
it comes to processors for gaming.
Performance
I will be reviewing this device's performance as I get my hands on it, so let's just leave it
for now.
CPU & GPU
Acer has again preferred intel over AMD as they implemented an i7 11gen processor. I
would really hope that it works well with the GPU and gives better performance.
They also have managed to install a NVIDIA RTX 3060 GPU. A GPU like that in a 14
inch device looks exceptional. This was one of the two reasons this device was on this
list.
The second one is its weight.

ASUS Zephyrus Due 15
Last year ASUS Zephyris gave us a glimpse of what a gaming laptop could be and we
were excited about the modification they could bring in this year's lineup. And let me tell,
what I have seen, isn't disappointing, in fact it just amazing and facesitting by just
looking at the route they have taken with this thing
Performance
I will be reviewing this device's performance as I get my hands on it, so let's just leave it
for now. But I got to say that the only problem that I had with its previous version was its
thermal, which was producing a lot of noise and they seem to have corrected that.
CPU & GPU
This product has also been blessed with the new AMD processors as well as GPU
upgrading upto RTX 3080. This is what I would say the premium gaming laptop.

MSI GE76
It is no surprise that the next two picks for the best gaming laptop for 2021 are from
MSI. MSI, like Acer, have chosen Intel as their processor model and this is where things
get interesting. In our list, we have three gaming laptops with intel processors and three
laptops with AMD.
So now, we might get a better perspective this year of which processor will be the
leading processor provider and will have more power to handle the next generation of
gaming.
Performance
I will be reviewing this device's performance as I get my hands on it, so let's just leave it
for now.
CPU & GPU
With the help of the powerful NVIDIA GPU which can be upgraded up to RTX 3080 and
an 8 core intel i9 processor which can be upgraded to 10th generation, MSi GE 76 is
a powerhouse which can run current and next gen games to their finest.

MSI GP76
This is another device that caught my attention in this fascinating lineup of MSI gaming
laptops. MSI GP76 is a powerful laptop which can run video games on a 144Hz refresh
rate. This device is available on a 17 inch display which combined with the latest intel
processor and the latest GPU provide a mesmerizing experience.
I am curious to see the price of this device as it offers a lot. If they can manage to sell
this one at a lower price then we are good to go.
Performance
I will be reviewing this device's performance as I get my hands on it, so let's just leave it

CPU & GPU
Same as most of the devices on this list, MSI GP76 supports the latest NVIDIA GPU
that is RTX 3080 and also a 10th gen i7 intel processor to boost your gaming
experience.

ROG Flow X13
I just couldn't believe at first that they are going with this strategy. I am one of those few
individuals who were in support of a well made and optimized external graphics card.
And it seem like ASUS has finally accomplished that.(ASUS have been fierce this year)
They have introduced ROG Flow, a 13 inch gaming device which doesn't really look like
a gaming device. It runs with the AMDs 5000 processors but here is the catch. This
device comes with an external GPU. Yes, an external GPU which has an RTX 3080 in
it.
Now the external GPU we have here is relatively a lot smaller than the ones we have
seen in the past and this change in strategy by ASUS will be a gamechanger. And I
would say this right here, right now, either this device will pull huge numbers or it will be
a start of something new which will change the gaming industry or be both.
Either way, it is a win-win situation for ASUS gaming laptops.
Performance
I will be reviewing this device's performance as I get my hands on it, so let's just leave it
for now.

ROG XG Mobile
As I have told before, this laptop comes with an RTX 3080 external GPU. It is
connected with a newly enhanced connection which is said to be delivering twice the
bandwidth of thunderbolt 3. So you are definitely in for a ride if you can get your hands
on to this device.

Will these devices hold up
We can say that we are already into the future when it comes to gaming laptops. The
lineups we have this year is already showing an edge over the latest gaming consoles.
Probably these gaming devices of 2021 would be able to go beyond 2021 adn will
challenge the power graphics of the games to come this decade.
