LETTER OF APPOINTMENT
Further to your application and the subsequent interview, is pleased to offer you as a post with effect from on the following terms and conditions.
1.Term of Service
1.1Your basic monthly salary shall be at the rate of Ringgit Malaysia RM1,700-00.
2.Probation and Confirmation
2.1Upon appointment and commencement from your starting date, it would be necessary for you to undergo a probationary period of six (6) months. This period may be reduced or extended at the Company’s discretion and in either case you will be informed in writing prior to the expiry of the said six (6) months.
2.2Upon confirmation of your period of probation, you will be notified in writing whether your appointment will be confirmed or to be extended. But any extension of probationary shall in three (3) months. On completion of the extended probationary period, the employment with the Company may be terminated should you be found unsuitable to be confirmed.
2.3In the event that you are selected to undergo training/course during your probationary period to any location outside Malaysia, your probation period will not be included of this training/course period.
3.0Notice of termination
3.1Either party may terminate the service of employment by giving one (1) month notice during probation and 1 month notice after confirmation, in writing or pay in lieu of the notice period.
3.2In the event of resignation, No pay leave shall not be used to offset the resignation notice, to prevent the occurrence of not assigning the job properly.
4.0Annual Leave
4.1Detail leave entitlements are set out in the company’s Human Resources Policy.

5.0Medical Leave
5.1You shall be, after examination by the Company’s appointed registered Medical Practitioner, be entitled to pay sick leave as set out in the Company’s Work Regulation.

6.0Public Holidays
6.1You will be entitled to minimum eleven (11) days paid holidays at your ordinary rate of pay in any one calendar year.
6.2The company shall decide and notify you on the selected public holidays on the company’s notice board. The company may from time to time, alter or substitute the paid holiday(s) on any other days for the purpose of production operations.
7.0Bonus
Bonus will be discretionary and will depend on individual and Company performance.
8.0Annual Increment
This will depend on your performance and the overall profitability of the Company.
9.0Allowances
You will be given allowance as been approved by the management from time to time.
10.0EPF & SOCSO
It is compulsory that you contribute to the SOCSO and Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and the Company will contribute the same as the provisions of the Act.
11.0Working Hours
11.15 days/week and the working hour shall be regulated by the Company in accordance with the provision of Employment Act 1955. The Company shall specify your working hours as per the Human Resource Policy to meet the requirements of the Company’s business.
11.2The Company reserves the right to change the working hours, rest day and meal breaks as and when it deems necessary.
12.0Condition of Appointment
Your appointment will be subjected to:
12.1Pre-Employment Medical Examination
The company require a pre-employment medical examination to be conducted to certify that you are fit or unfit for employment.
12.2If you are unfit to work, the employment contract will be void upon the result of the medical checkup.
12.3Your agreement that you will be prepared to travel in or reside and work in any part of the [ ] of companies.
12.4Your agreement that you will be prepared to be transferred to any part, section or divisions of the Company.
12.5Your agreement that you will work overtime when you are required to do so unless you have valid reason which is acceptable to your superior.
12.6Your agreement that any invention you make in the course of your work and any patents arising there from will be the property of the Company and you is required to sign the necessary papers in regard thereto. Any monetary reward will be considered only in special circumstances.
13.0Code of Conduct
You are required to observe and adhere to the following:-
13.1To faithfully and diligently perform duties and training and accept such responsibilities as may, from time to time, be assigned to you by the Company and at all times to promote and advance the interest of the Company.
13.2To obey and comply with all orders and directions given to you by the Company and faithfully to observe all rules, regulations, procedures, practices and policies of the Company, whether expressed or implied, for time being in force for the management of the Company’s business in all respects.
13.3Not at any time during the continuance of your employment with the Company to engage directly or indirectly in any other business or occupation whatsoever whether as principle, agent, servant, broker or otherwise to engage in any activity to the detriment, whether direct or indirect, of the Company’s interests, including the interests of any Company of business associated with or related to the Company provided that you may acquire or hold shares in any quoted public company.
13.4Not at any time to be guilty of any act or conduct causing or calculated to cause damage to the Company, its property, reputation of general interests, and in all respects and at all times conduct yourself with propriety and decorum.
13.5Your understanding, both during the period of employment and at all times after the termination thereof, to keep the secrets of the Company and that you will not (except in the normal course of the Company’s business) publish any literature, deliver any lecture or make any communication to the Press relating to the Company’s products; or to any matters with which the Company may be concerned; other persons, any trade, business or profession, or accept any form of paid employment unless you have previously applied to and obtained the written permission from the Personnel Department.
14.0Summary of Dismissal
The Company reserves the right to dismiss an employee for serious misconduct including; drug abuse and dependency, dishonesty, insubordination, gross neglect of duty, criminal conviction, bankruptcy, absent for two consecutive days without prior approval, or any other default; without notice, salary or other forms of compensation after due inquiry.
15.0Company Work Regulations
You will be abided by the Regulations set out in the Company Work Regulations (Company’s Human Resources Policy) which will be reviewed from time to time.
16.0Other Terms and Condition
The other terms and conditions of service as provided for in the Human Resource Policy shall form an integral part of your contract of employment with the Company. For disputes during the execution of the contract, the two parties can settle them through negotiations.
