Abraham Addae Agyemang THEME FOR THE YEAR: “UNLEASHED TO LIVE A LIFE WORTHY OF YOUR CALLING” (EPH. 4:1, 1THESS. 4:7 & GAL. 1:24). The books for our individual study and public reading are; Eph. 4, 1Thess. 4, Gal. 1 & Gen. 1 Presiding Elders are to read one of the Scriptures every Sunday morning after Bible Study class whiles every member is entreated to prayerfully read through the said scriptures and meditate on them. 1) TIME WITH JESUS PRAYER MEETINGS The district’s dawn prayer meetings dubbed “Time with Jesus” will come off at Odorkor Central on every Friday from 5:00am to 6:00am. 2) 14 DAYS NATIONAL FASTING AND PRAYERS AND CHAIRMAN’S VIRTUAL MEETING WITH OFFICER’S From Tuesday, January 7, 2025, to Sunday, January 19, 2025, have been slated for National Fasting and Prayers weeks at the local levels. Prayer topics have been included in the December circular as a form of guidance during the period. There will be Chairman’s virtual meeting with all officers on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 8:30am to 1:30pm at Odorkor Central. 3) END OF YEAR LOCAL PRESBYTERY, DISTRICT MNISTRIES AND COMMITTEES MEETING All local assemblies, ministries, and other committees are to have their end of year presbytery other ministry and committees’ meetings on Thursday, January 2, to Sunday, January 5, 2025. 4) SUBMISSION OF END OF YEAR REPORTS AND PRESBYTERY MEETING On Monday, January 6, 2025, all Local assemblies, district ministries and other committees are to submit their end of year reports to the district office. Sunday, January 12, 2025, is scheduled for end of year Presbytery meeting at 1:30pm at Odorkor Central assembly. 5) LOCAL WELFARE WEEK From Monday, January 13 to Sunday, January 19, 2025, is slated for Local Welfare week at all the local assemblies. National fasting and Prayers continues at the local assemblies. 6) CLOSING DATE FOR THE SUBMISSION OF END OF YEAR DISTRICTS, AREA MINISTRIES AND COMMITTEE’S REPORTS Thursday, January 16, 2024, is the closing date for the submission of districts, Area Ministries and committee’s reports at the Area office. 7) YOUTH MINISTRY MEETING DAYS Every Monday, with the exception of Lord’s Supper weeks are slated for youth meetings. 8) FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING On Monday, January 20, 2025, is scheduled for Finance Committee meeting at the Area conference room at 6:00pm. A detailed information will be communicated I due course 9) MINISTRIES WEEK AND GOSPEL SUNDAY From Tuesday, January 21 to Sunday, January 26, 2024, is programmed for ministries week and Gospel Sunday in all the locals. 10) DISTRICT EVANGELISM MINISTRY JOINT SERVICE Friday, January 24, 2025, is blocked for District Evangelism ministry joint service at Odorkor Central at 6:30pm prompt. 11) HOME CELL MEETING Every Monday of the Lord’s supper week has been set aside for Home Cell meetings in all the various centers in the local assembly. Leadership should ensure that these directives are adhered to in all the locals. 12) LORD’S SUPPER WEEK TEACHING AND PRAYER MEETING Lord’s Supper week activities for the month of January 2025 comes off from Tuesday, January 28 to Sunday, February 2, 2025, at all local assemblies. Presiding Elders are encouraged to teach about the sacrifice made by Christ for our redemption, and the blessing in paying tithes faithfully. They are also to pray for the members for God to prosper the work of their hands during the Lord’s Supper week.
