Discover Salsa Dancing
During the Corona
Quarantine
Self-quarantine may have its perks. What?
We're playing more games, watching more movies and series, and we're even reading
again. But there's more you could do...
Enter salsa.
No chips allowed!
We're talking salsa dancing learned at home in your living room with an award-winning
personal instructor.
Since the Coronavirus has many of us self quarantined at home, we’re looking for things
to do. Netflix's watch time is buzzing off the charts, the Kindle store is blowing up, and
more games are being played. Many, however, want something different and something
active.
Take Leonora and her husband in Toronto. They're learning salsa dancing at home.
Almost every time I tell someone I dance salsa, their face lights up and they
immediately shoot back, "How cool! I've always wanted to try that!’” I'm Danny Kalman,
a full-time professional Latin dancer based in Los Angeles.
When I became a dancer, I never imagined so many people had thought about trying
salsa dancing. It still blows me away.
In a few short years, I have built one of Los Angeles’ most successful Latin dance
academies.
Through the academy, I've taught more than 1,000 students to dance salsa.
Every week I take phone calls from prospective students. A few patterns stand out on
these calls.
Most people say they want to take private lessons before they jump into a group class.
No one wants to feel awkward, out of place or miss a step in public. I get it. I was there
too.
When I first started dancing I refused to go social dancing for six months.
However, social dancing was a requirement to pass my college course. Thankfully, my
instructor had mercy and marked I'd gone, just to help me out. I was grateful.
The next challenges I hear are scheduling and distance. Los Angeles is gigantic and it’s
tough to drive across the city for a class at a set time.
My offer here changes that. You can learn at home anytime you like.
That's what's close to my heart. I want you to have access to world-class salsa training.
I grew up in a small town with no access to proper salsa training. I had to move to Los
Angeles for access to better dance training, of any kind.
Then I decided to creatively solve all of these issues and I started publishing salsa
training programs with pre-recorded videos for people to learn at home.
• No traveling across town.
• No embarrassing moments (at least not in front of others)
• No awkward, out of place or embarrassing missed steps.
I didn't know what the response would be.
But the glowing reviews came in and I knew I was on to something great.
Originally my programs were ultra-focused and comprehensive pieces of training. But
then I published a super friendly, basic, easy, program for couples who want to start
dancing salsa for the first time.
It's called Date Night Salsa and it's all about having fun.
It’s a chance for couples to try something new.
Ladies you can learn to be swept off your feet and feel sexy while your man leads.
And gents you will learn how to sweep her off of her feet.
This is a chance for you to dance in the comfort of your own home and laugh at your
mistakes without being judged by demanding classmates.
Laugh all you want at yourselves. Then back up and restart the video where you went
wrong.
This course is for anyone who feels they have 'two left feet.’ It will give you proper
guidance and empower you to learn to dance.
But it's also for those of you that feel you 'catch on quickly' and just need a little
guidance.
Social distancing mandates have essentially wiped out all salsa social dancing events
temporarily.
But, when one door closes another opens. Couples are learning this is a wonderful time
to learn salsa dancing together at home.
Many couples are taking full advantage of this time together at home. They will look
back at the coronavirus with some positive memories as the time they learned to dance
salsa. Plus, when the social dances finally do re-open, they'll be ready!
Salsa Date Night knows no borders. Join couples around the world today!
