Ecstatic Escapades
Let’s go!
It is my favorite phrase and my favorite thing to do. I
love to travel, to discover new things and meet new people.
More importantly, I have always loved to go far, to go forward
and to go on living.
Nothing sounds more appealing than an escapacade
with a loved one or with friends. It brings me a lot of joy and
excitement to know that I will be embarking in a new
adventure, even if it is just for a day or two. Like riding a super
fast car that brings so much adrenaline rush and thrill, I get all
sorts of emotions and hopes all of a sudden.
The take off has always been my favorite part. I feel curious, excited, hopeful and alive all at the
same time! I get ecstatic knowing that the journey would let me see new things, new places, new faces
and eventually make new friends. Along the way, I let myself be one with the track I’m drifting in, enjoying
every moment and learning new things about myself and about life.
I can go anywhere my heart and
mind decides to wander. I can be in a
beach, by the
falls, on top of
mountains, or even get lost in old cities.
I’m in it for the knowledge, for the
adventure and for the freedom. It gives
me a sense of control and release, and
that’s the best part of my travels.
As much as I would love to do it more often, one can only have so much time and resources. All
those extravagance and leisure come with a price, time and money to be exact. Take for example those
high-priced, electrifying and speedy Formula 1 races, giving us a lot of euphoria and aspirations. It is
something so magnificent and entertaining yet so
costly and swift. If not for the memories and
souvenirs, one may almost not know it really
happened!
Still we keep waiting for the next race and
come back for more, because our adventures and
experiences become a part of who we are. For
what it’s worth, it’s all worth the while.
