Why are Soft Skills so Important?
Hello, my name is Rod Holmes. I have been an instructor for 20 years. Right
now I am semi-retired. That means I am looking for ways to supplement my
retirement income.
This is why I started this website…its main focus is on Soft Skills.
Soft skills are personal attributes that allow us to effectively relate to others.
And applying Soft Skills can help you build stronger work relationships, work
more productively, and maximize our career prospects.

The mini-courses(main emphasis is on anybody who is interested)

After each module there are self-tests that the participant can take.

2. The 5 course bundle
The 5 course bundle consists of 5 mini-courses...
The first mini-course is the Body Language Basics…this mini-course will
provide you with a great set of skills to understand that what is not said is just
as important than what is said. It will also give you the ability to see and
understand how your own Body Language is being seen. You will be able to
adjust and improve the way you communicate through non-verbal
communications.
The second mini-course is Employee Onboarding... Employee Onboarding will
increase productivity and produce a happier and more skilled workforce. The
new hire phase is a critical time for the employee and company and having a
structured set of procedures will make this time run smoother and produce a
greater chance of success.
The third mini-course is on Personal Branding… in this mini-course you will
be able to share your vision and passions with others in your company. Utilize
this knowledge through Social Media to define and influence how others see
you. You are your brand so protect it. Live it.
The fourth mini-course is on Social Intelligence…this mini-course will provide
benefits throughout your professional and personal lives. It is a fantastic tool
for coaching and development as people will learn “people skills”. Improving
social skills through active listening, understanding body language, and being
more empathic will give you the advantage in any interactions. Social
interactions are a two way street, know the rules of the road!
The fifth mini-course is on Women in Leadership… This mini-course will
show you how women are changing the workforce. You will gain a new
perspective on the workforce, and what benefits can come from hiring and
promoting women to higher positions.

The 10 course min-courses consists of 10 mini-courses…

organization, and provide that additional edge that will lead to success.
The second mini-course is on Conducting Annual Employee Reviews…you
will discover how to conduct a well-designed employee review. By determining

The third mini-course is on Digital Citizenship…the mini-course allows you to
