My Life in Los Angeles, Southern California. I treasure a famous city that lies to the South end of California. This place is both famous and popular worldwide, and, fortunately, this is where I was born. This city is Los Angeles. Growing up there fulfilled my young life in that I got to live amongst admirable infrastructure that shone in glamour. As a child, I loved the city for its friendly people, perfect public amenities and infrastructure that I can only describe as world-class. It is Los Angeles that provided me with hope to live believing that anything was possible despite the fast life that it provided. As is the case with everywhere else: there we ups and downs about my hometown. The biggest problem about this fantastic place is that the traffic can be quite challenging for small children. I often had to cross the roads midway then run back when more traffic appeared. However, in a summary, the ups and downs that I experienced in Los Angeles are what made me what I am today. That is why, to this day, I keep the memories as fresh as cheese. Experience has taught me that a place should not be defined only by the ability to earn a living. Rather, the people plus the experiences that we make together are what matter. I am lucky to have experienced these because I would explore the city, which at that time appeared so huge to me. For instance, I went hiking in the Temescal Canyon and from its peak; I could view the Pacific Ocean, the South Bay and the whole of Downtown. Sometimes I visited the Getty Center and got a glimpse of vast collections of art. When I got to the driving age, I would drive through Laurel Canyon from Wonderland Avenue to Hollywood. The night and day skies were the most amazing things I had ever laid my eyes on. I think my friends, too, loved the sight because none agreed to be left behind. The list of the activities that one can partake in is extensive. Of course, being that Hollywood is located here makes Los Angeles an extremely attractive place. Being in the vicinity automatically brings a feel of celebrity over someone. The talents showcased at the great place are just out of this world. Hollywood has inspired the rise of many movie centers such as Venice Beach, Dodger Stadium, Santa Monica Pier, Universal City Walk and the TCL Chinese Theater. Education has not been shadowed by the gigantic entertainment industry. There are numerous institutions of all levels of learning such as the University of California. The food, too, is as admirable in Los Angeles. People treat themselves to cheese, sushi, Korean delicacies, Thai cuisine, bacon, French dips, Chinese food, tacos and burgers to mention but a few.
