CLUSTER INNOVATION CENTER ( CIC ) PRESS RELEASE dated :- DELHI UNIVERSITY ( D.U. ) “ SKILLS LEAD TO INNOVATIVE SELF EMPLOYMENT in D.U ” These words are not coming from the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi nor from the Skilled Development Ministry , Government of India but voicing it is a rare group of students from Cluster Innovation Center (CIC) , Delhi University who are awaiting the final year results of B.Tech . They call themselves as T 9 because they spent all their academic years in room number 9 situated on the third floor of the CIC building. The group consists of 7 students – Shreya Juneja , Tushar Mishra , Parul Madan , Madhulika Mukherjee , Rahul Yadav , Om Prakash Yadav and Anurag Singh. The fire came on a hot Sunday afternoon in June 2015 to start this idea of doing an innovative project. All these students have done their internships at various MINISTRY OF MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES , Government of India ( MSME’s ) ranging from a wide choice of industries – cheese manufacturing , garment manufacturing , real estate & so forth. They also realized that the major bulk of the GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT ( GDP )comes from these MSME’s . Sharp observation , sharp minds are the forte of our young minds. They actually found out that the majority of these MSME’s [ actually 50% ] use old practices – manual handling of documents and out dated communicative processes . All this and much more was puzzling them seven , sharp youngsters who wanted to do something – start a new trend . They are well equipped with the latest IT technology practices and asked themselves “ how , we can fill this gap ” and in this ulterior aim , they started as well as created T9 solutions – www.tnine.io . The T 9 solutions provides new age tech – solutions in the domain of software development, website development , mobile applications development , analytics and technical consultancy . Certainly they drive the businesses to a higher level of performance & excellence. Their projects are – Suraksha mobile application for the police , project management mobile application for real estate , a smart canteen software development etc; . The projects are in the realm of social sector and industry. Lastly, the institutional help came in a big way . Even after the completion of their last semester , when these socially awakened citizens approached CIC , the Director Prof.M.M.Chaturvedi came to their rescue and applauded their ambitious mission . Prof Shobha Bagai has always helped and taken care of T 9 solutions ever since it’s inception. The seven wonder as to whether they have given the cutting edge to the society while the rest of their batch are cooling enjoying their six digit salaries . Truly , skill development leads to self employment are the new trends in Delhi University , give a clarion call to each and everyone , say the T 9 members confidently.
