Comedy Tale: A Doodle & Lazy Disciple It is a matter of ancient times, full of humor. There was a Guru and his disciple who lived in a city in Uttar Pradesh a state of India, Both lived together. What happened once in the evening? They were preparing to sleep that all of a sudden rain was accompanied by the sound of strong rain, it was an ancient time, there were no modern comforts like electricity, people used to use oil lamps for light at night. Gurudev (The Master) said to his disciple while laying on the bed O my child, just look at outside, is it raining right ? But the lazy disciple did not go outside to see the rain and answered, yes Gurudev my teacher, it has been raining outside, Gurudev asked that you have not gone out, then how do you know it has been raining outside? He replied, now a cat has just come into the room and it is soaked, that is why I guess that it is raining outside, then the teacher said, my dear child, it is too late night, now want to sleep so extinguish the lamp. He replied, O Gurudev my teacher, close your eyes, it will be dark by itself. Gurudev the master said that O lazy disciples at least close the door, it is night time, he answered immediately, my dear teacher, I have done two things, now you should do one thing only.
