How to lose double chin?
A double chin is an extra layer of fat present below your chin which makes your chin appear shabby and fatty. The fat present below your chin is called Submental fat and is mostly associated with weight gain. Double chin in younger age is formed due to extra eating and obesity while in older age it is formed due to loosening of skin. Genetically some people can also have a problem with a double chin. Here are some of the easiest ways to lose double chin fat in no time.
1- Touch your nose: One of the easiest and most exercise to lose weight is touching your nose through a tongue tip. When you feel that your fat has developed well enough that it appears separately below your jawline and chin then perform this exercise on regular basis. Protrude out your tongue from your mouth as far as possible and pull it in an upward direction in such a way that its tip touches your nose. Keep your lips relaxed during this exercise. Perform this exercise for about 10-15 repetitions. After 7-10 days you will feel a significant difference.
2- Kiss the giraffe: This is also one of the most effective exercises to lose your double chin. Imagine you need to kiss a giraffe (or someone who is very tall). Lift your face upwards and look at the ceiling. Bring your lower jaw forward slightly and gather your lips in a way that you are going to kiss someone. Your chin fat will be triggered in this way and you will feel a strong tension in your neck. Hold in the position for 5 to 8 seconds and repeat this exercise 10-15 times on a daily basis.
3- Puffy cheeks exercise: To perform this exercise inhale all the air in your mouth in a way that it becomes like a balloon. Close your mouth and puff up your cheeks. Now press your palms on your cheeks so that you feel the tension in your muscles. Hold for 5 seconds and then release all the air in your cheeks and relax for a moment. Repeat this exercise 10- 15 times. This exercise is effective enough to help you lose chin fat.
Some diet modifications for losing double chin:
There are some diet modifications that will help you to lose the fat off your double chin.
Have 3-4 servings of vegetables every day.
Eat 3-4 servings of fruits on daily basis.
Use whole grains instead of refined grains.
Avoid processed foods from your diet.
Refrain from fried items and sweeteners.
Eat healthy fats e.g. avocado, olive oil, and nuts.
Eat low-fat dairy products.
The aforementioned are the two most effective methods to lose a double chin. Exercise make a significant difference in your fat reduction if you perform it regularly and efficiently. Exercise triggers your chin fat and fat gets lost when chin muscles are in tension. Diet modifications are also important in losing chin fat and double chin. Having plenty of fiber and whole grains will help you to lose double chin as fast as possible.
