Stand up for accurate prenatal analysis
Dear #Name#
Let’s pause for a moment and rethink, what is so significant about age 35 for women.
Isn’t that just an arbitrary cut-off point?
Younger women give birth to more babies than older women, but are less likely to get tested
with the most accurate, non-invasive prenatal genetic testing. According to The National Down’s
Syndrome Society, 80% of babies with Down’s Syndrome are born to women under 35. Many
insurers refuse to cover the much accurate non-invasive prenatal testing for these low-risk
women. Doesn’t these women deserve to receive clear information to give themselves the
confidence to decide the fate of their families.
What does that mean for you?
When it comes to finding any chromosomal abnormality in your baby, then, wouldn’t you prefer
a faster, more accurate test that doesn’t increase the risk of miscarriage over a slower and less
accurate one?
Young women also deserve the right to NIPT.
Join our mission to ensure that all pregnant women have access to the most accurate
information available via less risky, invasive methods about their pregnancy AS EARLY AS
POSSIBLE.
Let’s raise our voice to at least have the option, regardless of age.
