The body is the outer part of man that the man needs to function in this physical world. The soul is the inner part of man that houses, the mind or intellect, emotions and will. While, the spirit is the inner part of the man that is the real person. These three parts of a man put him in a special class of being and enable him to exercise dominion over creation. The body has its own strength. The soul has its own strength. The spirit has its own strength. My thorough study of the bible and of history, led me to conclude. Firstly, there have been and are three different classes of giants based on the strength of each aspect of man: 1. Physical giant 2. Mental/intellectual giant 3. Spiritual giant 1 Secondly, each class of giant does not have equal strength. The mental/intellectual giant is far stronger than the physical giant. The spiritual giant is far more stronger than both of them. Thirdly, each class of giants has exercised their dominance in different dispensation on the earth. “But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel”. Who is a giant then? A giant is a being or entity that is of a great size, force or quality that dominates or intimidates. “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37 In our study in this book, we will uncover how each class of giants ruled on the earth and discover the prophetic insight into the class of giants that will dominate the earth before the rapture of the church. The scriptures clearly show that the Christian is born of God and is not an ordinary person or mere man. This book relies on scriptural truth and the prophetic words and visions the Lord has said to and shown me about the church that He is coming for. This book, raises the consciousness of the church to that God is raising spiritual giants in these last days. God is calling you and me to step up our spiritual life and be the giant in the spirit He has called us to be. If you have not answered the call, it is time to respond. If you have there are greater things lie ahead. In John 14:12, Jesus said: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” 2 In 2Timothy 1:10 and Romans 8:37, Paul reiterates Jesus words thus: “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” I john 5:4 “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 1 Peter 1:23 “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4 You cannot be born of God, and be the same and live like ordinary men. It is time to unlock the giant inside you. 3 CHAPTER 1 PHYSICAL GIANTS The physical giants were the first class of giants to dominate the earth. Moreover, they still exercise strength and skill to some extent to their advantage in this present day. Many people have excelled in different fields especially in sports because of their physical size, strength and skill. In the Old Testament section of the bible, there are three Hebrew words translated giant. One of them is 'rapha' which means “in the sense of invigorating” and the word invigorating means imparting strength and vitality.1 Another Hebrew word is Gibbor, which means powerful, warrior, tyrant, champion, chief, mighty man, strong man and valiant man.2 The third Hebrew word is Nephiyl, which means a fellar, a bully or tyrant.3 All these words and their meanings points to this: a physical giant has an advantage of physical strength and/or skill that he uses over others. NOAH'S GENERATION After sin entered into creation at the fall of Adam the people, tribe or nation that dominated the earth were physically strong and skilled people. 4 “There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” Genesis 6:4 These men were physically strong and could accomplish many physical things with their great physical stature. Archeological and historical facts show that these giants were many feet tall. When it was time for war, their height was an advantage and their great physical stature made them the rulers on the earth at that time. JOSHUA AND CALEB'S GENERATION “And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” Numbers 13: 33 Moses sent out 12 spies to produce a report on the Promised Land. They came back with a report: giants who were the sons of Anak occupied part of the Promised Land, “…and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers.” For some of the spies to have described themselves as grasshoppers, meant those giants were very big. Therefore, fighting those giants and winning them will be a daunting task. Let us study more scriptures about the physical giants in Joshua and Caleb's generation: 5 “The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.” Deuteronomy 2:10-11 “(That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims; A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:” Deuteronomy 2:20-21 “We took all of the cities of the plateau, all of Gilead, and all of Bashan as far as Salcah and Edrei, cities of Og's kingdom in Bashan. (Of the Rephaim only King Og of Bashan was left. His bed was made of iron and was more than 13 feet long and 6 feet wide. It is still in the Ammonite city of Rabbah.)” Deuteronomy 3:10-11 (God's Word translation) “All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.” Joshua 13:12 “And the border came down to the end of the mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of Hinnom, and which is in the valley of the giants on the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended to Enrogel,” Joshua 18:16 6 All the above scriptures show us that there were physical giants on the earth in that generation and their locations were revealed. With the physical size and strength of the indigenes of these nations, the children of Israel still defeated them; not because they were physically bigger or stronger but because God Almighty was with them DAVID'S GENERATION 2 Samuel 21: 16, 18, 20, 22: “And Ishbibenob, which was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear weighed three hundred shekels of brass in weight, he being girded with a new sword, thought to have slain David.” “And it came to pass after this, that there was again a battle with the Philistines at Gob: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Saph, which was of the sons of the giant.” “And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant.” “These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.” There were giants in the days of David. These giants were warriors in their army. However, the name of the giant that David fought with is Goliath. In 1Samuel 17:47 (God's Word Translation): 7 “The Philistine army's champion came out of their camp. His name was Goliath from Gath. He was ten feet tall. He had a bronze helmet on his head, and he wore a bronze coat of armor scales weighing 125 pounds. On his legs he had bronze- shin guards and on his back a bronze javelin. The shaft of his spear was like the beam used by weavers. The head of his spear was made of 15 pounds of iron. The man who carried his shield walked ahead of him.” The above scripture gives us a brief profile of Goliath of Gath. He was 10 feet tall and was a warrior from youth; he was skilled in combat. Nobody could face him including King Saul who the bible described as the tallest in Israel. Goliath had an advantage over others because of his size. PRESENT DAY GENERATION In today's world, physical strength and skill might not be advantageous in war because of the influence and dominance of mental giants. However, there are certain spheres where physical strength and skill do confer an advantage. In sports like athletics, wrestling, boxing, basketball and many other field events, physical size and skill are very advantageous. In martial arts, physical size and skill can be of advantage. The dominance of physical giants in this dispensation have highly diminished and become almost irrelevant. The class of mental giants will always dominate the class of physical giants, therefore by implication the dispensation of their reign on earth has passed. 8 9 CHAPTER 2 MENTAL GIANTS The mental giants were the second class of giants to dominate the earth and they predominately still do so today. Mental giants have exercised extraordinary mental skills and abilities to solve many problems and challenges of today's world. Without the mental giants, the world would still have been in the dark ages. Development and advancement in many areas is the product of mental giants in this generation. Prophecy was given to Daniel in Daniel 12:4, that there will be increase in knowledge: “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” In the past 130 years, the level of mental ability that has been demonstrated in the human race is unprecedented. Mental giants have always been on the earth but they became more prominent in this dispensation. For instance, the bible accounts of the life of Joseph, Solomon and Daniel shows that they were mental giants in their days. 10 JOSEPH Joseph was a man that achieved rare feats in his generation because he was a mental giant. In Genesis 41: 1- 57, the bible records that Pharaoh had a dream. Prior to this time Joseph was a prisoner in the Pharaoh's prison though he was innocent of the charge against him. In prison, Joseph had interpreted the dream of his fellow prisoners. One of them was the King's chief butler who was subsequently reinstated to his former position. When Pharaoh had the dream, Joseph was introduced to him as one who could interpret his dream. After Joseph interpreted the dream, he gave Pharaoh a counsel on how to solve that impending problem based on the dream: “Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years. And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities. And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine. And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants. And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: 11 only in the throne will I be greater than thou. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.” (Genesis 41:33-41) The Hebrew word for “discreet” in verse 33 also means to be distinguished mentally, understand, eloquence or have intelligence.1 The Hebrew word for “wise” in that verse 33 also means intelligent, skillful or artful.2 Joseph's recommendation to Pharaoh was that a man that can intelligently handle the political and economic affairs of the nation be appointed to avoid the economic disaster that was coming. He was chosen by Pharaoh to be that intelligent and competent person. Obviously, Pharaoh must have had sound economic advisers and I believe Pharaoh himself would be a very knowledgeable person but he still described Joseph as the most discreet and the most competent person to oversee the nation. Joseph never had any recorded history of going through a formal training or process of education on economic and political skills but he handled the affairs of the most powerful and advanced nation on earth in his generation without any hitches or issues. It will take a mental giant to do that. Joseph possessed the metal capacity and intellectual skill to sustain Egypt and its environs and to make Pharaoh very wealthy in the midst of famine. All these can only happen when you are a mental stalwart. And like Solomon, his mental ability came from God Almighty. 12 SOLOMON “And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore. And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt. For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about. And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five. And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes. And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.” 1Kings 4:29-34 I want you to note that the bible does not exaggerate. Solomon had an unusual mental capacity. The Hebrew word for 'understanding' in verse 29 also means intelligence and skillfulness.3 The Hebrew word for 'heart' in verse 29 also means will and intellect.4 Solomon had extraordinary amplitude of intellectual ability. He knew poems, music, agriculture, botany, zoology, biology as we were told in verse 32 and 33 (In modern language that is what those things referred to these verses would have been called). Solomon knew so much that his contemporaries could not compete with him. According to bible records, Solomon is the only King of Israel that never fought a war throughout his reign. Solomon was indeed a mental giant, which is why until today many of Solomon's achievement have not been surpassed. 13 “And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart. And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not.” 2Chronicles 9:1-2 As I have given biblical account of certain mental giants, I will also give historical accounts of certain mental giants of the past 150 years. The account of their lives lets us know the things they did and invented that has exceptionally influenced the way we live and intellectually reason today. I will briefly give an account of the lives of Albert Einstein, Thomas Alva Edison, The Wright brothers, Nikola Tesla, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. ALBERT EINSTEIN The Hebrew word for 'hard questions' in verse 1 also means puzzle and riddles. The Hebrew word for “questions” in verse 2 means a matter. The Hebrew word for 'hid' in verse 2 means to veil from sight or conceal. The reason why I am giving the meaning in Hebrew is to let us know the kind of questions that was asked Solomon. They are questions that involved intellectual ability not just spiritual knowledge. The bible also lets us know that nothing is veiled or concealed from Solomon's mental ability. He was vast in knowledge that the mental champions of his generation were no match for him. Interestingly he got this mental capacity from God Almighty. THE MODERN DAY For the past 150 years, there has been phenomenal advancement in all fields of life through inventions, innovations and extraordinary demonstrations of the human mental capacity. 14 Albert Einstein lived between 14th of March 1879 to 18th of April 1955. He was a German born theoretical physicist. He postulated many theories in modern physics, which includes the theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. He influenced a lot of philosophy in the area of science and he is widely known for his mass energy equivalence formula (E = MC2 ) which is also tagged as the world's famous equation. His work in the field of science affected the content and syllabus of what we study today in the area of science. Many inventions and discoveries have taken place because of his intellectual input in the field of science. In 1921, he received the Nobel Prize in physics for his discovery of the law of photoelectric effect, which is an essential step in the development of quantum theory, special relativity, general relativity, gravitational wave, unified field theory and so on. At 12 years, he taught himself algebra and geometry over a single summer. His level of mental capacity was exceptional. He also independently discovered his own original proof of the Pythagorean Theorem. 15 He started teaching himself calculus at 12 and as at 14years old, he had mastered integral and differential calculus. Throughout his life, he published hundreds of books and articles. He published more than 300 scientific papers and 150 non-scientific ones. On December 5, 2014, universities and archives announced the release of Einstein's papers comprising more than 30, 000 unique document. 5 Einstein's intellectual achievements and results made the word 'Einstein' synonymous with genius. We cannot talk about science, its many theories and many inventions and not directly or indirectly refer to Albert Einstein for his work in science. THOMAS ALVA EDISON Thomas Edison lived between 11th of February 1847 to 18th of October 1931. He was an American inventor and a businessman that has been described as America's greatest inventor. He developed many devices and gadgets that greatly affected lives around the world. This includes photograph, the motion picture camera and the long-lasting practical electric bulb. Thomas Edison is credited to be one of the 1st inventors to apply the principles of mass production and large scale team work in the process of invention and is often credited with the creation of the 1st industrial laboratory. He was also a mental giant in this generation as he holds 1,093 US patents in his name as well as many patents in UK, France and Germany.More significant than the number of Thomas Edison's patents was the widespread impact of his inventions. 16 Electric light and power utilities, sound recording and motion pictures all established major new industries worldwide. He contributed to mass communication and in particular telecommunications. These included a stock ticker, a mechanical vote recorder, a battery for an electric car, electrical power, and recorded music and so on. He only attended school for a few months and instead (was) taught (by) his mother. Edison developed hearing problems at an early age. This deafness was attributed to a bout of scarlet fever during childhood and recurring untreated middle-ear infections.6 However, all these still did not deter him from been a highly successful inventor. It is of note that the inventions of Thomas Edison still speak today in large volumes. Many industries and organizations today will not be in existence if not for his inventions. NIKOLA TESLA Nikola Tesla lived between 10th of July 1856 to 7th of January 1943. He was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, physicist and a futurist. He is widely known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system. When Tesla was young, he was able to perform integral calculus in his head, which prompted his teachers to believe he was cheating. He finished a fouryear term in three years, graduating in 1873. He received an advanced education in engineering and physics in the 1870s and gained practical experience in the early 1880s working in telephony and at the continental Edison in the new electric power industry. 17 Attempting to develop inventions he could patent and market, Tesla conducted a range of experiments with mechanical oscillations/generators, electrical discharge tubes and early x-ray imaging. He also built a wireless controlled boat, one of the first ever exhibited. Tesla pursued his ideas for wireless lighting and worldwide wireless electric power distribution in his high voltage, high frequency power experiments. Many of the wireless gadgets we use today in our generation were ideas and experiments of Nikola Tesla. He was a mental giant that did experiments and try to invent things that were way beyond his time. When cars were running on fuel and gas in those days, he was already doing experiments to have cars work on electricity. That is why he is sometimes referred to as a futurist because many things we are enjoying today, he worked on them in his generation and believed they were possible. He wrote a number of books and articles for magazines and journals. Tesla, an SI derived unit of magnetic flux density (or magnetic inductivity) was based on his name. He was a man that thought beyond his time.7 December 17 1903, 4miles south of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. In 1904 – 1905, the brothers developed their flying machine into the first practical fixed-wing aircraft. The Wright brothers were the first to invent aircraft controls that made fixed-wing powered flight possible. Wilbur attended High school but did not obtain a diploma because of relocation from Indiana to Ohio while Orville dropped out of High school to start his printing business in 1889 he then designed and built his own print shop with Wilbur's help. They gained the mechanical skills essential for their success by working for years in their shop with printing presses, bicycles, motors and other machinery.8 Their input into the aviation industry has changed the mode of transportation and the duration of movement from one part of the world to another. Imagine a world without airplanes? Traveling would have been laborious and very stressful. The Wright brothers solved that major problem of transportation that has changed the whole world. STEVE JOBS THE WRIGHT BROTHERS The Wright brothers are called Orville and Wilbur. Orville lived from 19th August 1879 to 30th January 1948 while Wilbur lived from 16th of April 1867 to 30th of May 1912. They were 2 American aviators, engineers and inventors. They are aviation pioneers who are generally credited with inventing, building and flying the world's first successful airplane. They made the first controlled sustained flight of a powered, heavier than air aircraft on 18 Steve Jobs lived from 24th February 1955 to 5th October 2011. He was an American entrepreneur and a business magnate. He was the chairman, CEO and co-founder of Apple Inc., chairman and majority shareholder of Pixar, a member of the Walt Disney company's board of directors following its acquisition of Pixar and the founder, chairman and CEO of NEXT. . Jobs and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak are widely recognized as pioneers of the microcomputer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s. Steve 19 Jobs had an interesting childhood. He was born in San Francisco California to parents who put him up for adoption at birth. The parents that adopted him trained him until he grew up. Steve stated that there was a period in his life that he slept on the floor in friend's dorm rooms and returned coke bottles for food money. There was a time he also got weekly free meals at the temple. Inspite of certain challenges he faced while growing up, he became an influential figure in his industry and sector. He helped to develop the visual effects industry when he funded the computer graphics division of George Lucas's Lucas film in 1986. The new company was Pixar, which produced Toy story, the first fully computer animated film. According to Steve Jobs, he said, “of all the inventions of humans, the computer is going to rank near or at the top as history unfolds and as we look back. It is the most awesome tool that we have ever invented”9 humanitarian and principal founder of Microsoft Corporation. During his career at Microsoft, Gates held the positions of chairman, CEO and chief software architect, while also being the largest individual shareholder until May 2014. He has a net worth of $92.8 billion as at early 2018. He is the co-chairman of Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, CEO of Cascade investment, chairman of Branded Entertainment Network and chairman of TerraPower. In 1975, Gates and Paul Allen launched Microsoft, which became the world's largest PC software company. Gates led the company as CEO until stepping down in January 2000, but remained as chairman and created the position of chief software architect for himself. Gates is one of the best-known entrepreneurs in the personal computer revolution. From 1995 to 2017, he held the Forbes title of the richest person in the world all but four of these years and held it consistently from March 2014 to July 2017 with an estimated net worth of $89.9 billion as of October 2017. BILL GATES In 2009, Gates and Warren Buffet founded The Giving Pledge, whereby they and other billionaires pledge to give at least half of their wealth to philanthropy. As of 2017, Bill and Melinda Gates were the 2nd most generous philanthropist in America having given over $28 billion to charity. The couple plan to eventually donate 95% of their wealth to charity.10 William Henry Gates also known as Bill Gates was born 28th of October 1955. He is an American business magnate, investor, author, and philanthropist, 20 You cannot talk about computer in this generation and not refer to Bill Gates because of Microsoft. His invention and company has truly changed all the sectors and industries 21 Steve jobs was a mental giant in our generation that his major work Apple products has raised the bar of micro computer technology and will for a long time remain highly relevant in the information and communication technology (ICT) world. because computers are needed everywhere. All these men mentioned above have done extraordinary things in their generation which have greatly influenced all our systems and way of living today. They are mental giants among many other mental giants that are not mentioned in this book that have been outstanding in the different fields of life. CHAPTER 3 SPIRITUAL GIANTS The spiritual giants are the third class of giants that will dominate the earth. They will dominate the earth until Jesus returns. What God did after Jesus came, died and resurrected, is to live permanently in man by His Spirit. With God's Spirit permanently in man, God's supernatural ability can then work through the human spirit affecting both our mental/intellectual ability as well as our physical ability. Examples of this manifestation were seen in the Old Testament portion of the bible during the reign of the physical giants and the mental giants. Caleb was an old man at the age of 85 (Joshua 14:10-11) at this time in the scripture below but he still defeated the giants. “And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in. Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said. 22 23 And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance. Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel. And the name of Hebron before was Kirjatharba; which Arba was a great man among the Anakims. And the land had rest from war.” Joshua 14:10-15 Caleb led people that grew up in the wilderness, that were not trained soldiers to war against the giants that were sons of Anak and defeated them because God Almighty was with them. “And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron. And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.” Joshua 15:13-14 David still defeated Goliath with all the advantages Goliath had in the art of war over David that has never gone to war. David was connected to God and functioned by the ability of God available to him (1Smauel17:1-58). David did not only kill Goliath, David's men also killed Goliath's brothers who were also giants. “After this, war broke out with the Philistines at Gezer. Then Sibbecai from Hushah killed Sippai, a descendant 24 of Haraphah, and the Philistines were defeated. When more fighting broke out with the Philistines, Elhanan, son of Jair, killed Lahmi, the brother of Goliath from Gath. (The shaft of Lahmi's spear was like a beam used by weavers.) In another battle at Gath, there was a tall man who had 24 fingers and toes: six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot. He also was a descendant of Haraphah. When he challenged Israel, Jonathan, son of David's brother Shimea, killed him. These men were the descendants of Haraphah from Gath, and David and his men killed them.” 1Chronicles 20:4-8 The Spirit of God gives man the ability to reign and rule in any situation no matter what the depth of the problem is. Spiritual giants will always exercise dominance over both the mental and the physical giant because man is a spirit. That is why when Jesus came; His primary aim is for the human spirit to be born again, to receive the divine and supernatural life of God. When the spirit of a man receives this life and nature, the man becomes a spiritual giant. I will take us through few biblical accounts of certain supernatural acts that defy science, inventions, technology, physical theories and postulations. God wants to repeat these supernatural acts and do much more through His children today. Read these few biblical accounts, be enlightened and resolved that you will not live an ordinary or natural life; but an extraordinary and supernatural life available in Christ Jesus. 25 MOSES Exodus 7:8 – 10: “And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent. And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.” The rod is a non-living thing and the serpent is a living thing. Moses therefore converted a non-living thing to a living thing and back to a non-living thing by the power of God. Therefore, God can change the state of an object to become a living thing through a man that will have faith in Him. If it can happen through Moses then it happen to any Christian that will believe him for that same miracle. These are the kind of spiritual giants God is raising in our day. Exodus 14:21-22: “And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.” 26 Moses divided the sea by stretching his hands over the sea. These biblical accounts actually happened. They are not fiction. There is no scientific or intellectual explanation that can be given about the dividing of the red sea. Natural and physical laws were rearranged because of spiritual laws in operation. In our days, spiritual giants will do mighty things that will defy natural and physical laws. JOSHUA Joshua 10:12-14: Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel. The sun and the moon are entities set in place by God to regulate time. Day and night signifies timing. These entities also regulate our seasons. However, a man backed by God suspended time by telling the sun and the moon to remain at their position for the fulfillment of God's purpose for that moment. It means if there is no other option for you and you must fulfill the purpose of God at that moment you can suspend any natural law including time. I want you to understand that anything that is a 27 limitation to a physical and mental giant is not a limitation to the spiritual giant. For a spiritual giant, anything is possible. SAMSON Judges 15:14-16: “And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands. And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith. And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men”. is what the LORD says: About this time tomorrow 24 cups of the best flour will sell for half an ounce of silver in the gateway to Samaria. And 48 cups of barley will sell for half an ounce of silver." The servant on whose arm the king was leaning answered the man of God, "Could this happen even if the LORD poured rain through windows in the sky?" Elisha replied, "You will see it with your own eyes, but you won't eat any of it." To defeat 1000 men, not boys, you not only need strength but you also require fighting skill. When several men came against Samson at once then it required skills coupled with strength to kill them. Samson did not use guns or advanced weaponry, he used a weapon that will require physical contact with the enemy. He did not use the common weapons of his time like bow and arrow or sword instead he used the jawbone of an ass to kill 1000 men. That is to tell you that a spiritual giant will always defeat a physical giant no matter their size and quantity. There was economic problem in the land, there was famine, and scarcity of food in the land, and Elisha prophesied that there would be a turnaround in the economy within 24 hours. Of course, this word will defy all economic theories and possibilities that is why the official beside the king answered and said it will not be possible. The official could not fathom how that will ever happen considering the extreme situation on ground in the land. When you read that passage of the bible from verse 3 to verse 20, the word from Prophet Elisha happened and food became affordable by the next day. This economic miracle happened in an unusual manner. This scripture lets us know that no matter how bad the financial state of an individual, organization or a nation is, it can rearranged supernaturally within a very short period by faith. This is the kind of financial miracle that nullifies all human calculations and intellectual strategies. A spiritual giant can supernaturally turnaround any situation including financial stagnation. ELISHA 2Kings 7:1-2 (God's Word translation): “Elisha answered, "Listen to the word of the LORD! This 28 2Kings 6:1-7 (God's Word translation): “The disciples of the prophets said to Elisha, "The place where we're staying is too small for us. Let's go to the 29 Jordan River. Each of us can get some logs and make a place for us to live there." Elisha said, "Go ahead." Then one of the disciples asked, "Won't you please come with us?" Elisha answered, "I'll go." So he went with them. They came to the Jordan River and began to cut down trees. As one of them was cutting down a tree, the ax head fell into the water. He cried out, "Oh no, master! It was borrowed!" The man of God asked, "Where did it fall?" When he showed Elisha the place, Elisha cut off a piece of wood. He threw it into the water at that place and made the ax head float. Elisha said, "Pick it up." The disciple reached for it and picked it up.” The miracle in this scripture is awesome. The axe head, which is a metal, sank when it dropped into the water, which is a natural thing because of the law of gravity at work. However, there is no human or scientific explanation of what made the axe head to float back to the top of the water when Elisha threw a piece of wood into the water. Elisha suspended the law of gravity by a supernatural and prophetic act. There is no way they would have retrieved that axe head from the river if not for the display of the supernatural. If you misplace something like this man misplaced the axe head that fell into the river, then you can retrieve it back supernaturally. As a spiritual giant, you let go of something when you choose to; but if you want it back, you can retrieve it from wherever it is whether you are aware of the surrounding location or not. 30 JESUS John 20:30 – 31: “And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” John 21:25: “And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.” I quoted the above scriptures to let us know that the life of our Lord Jesus Christ was an unending flow and streams of the miraculous. The supernatural was a regular and consistent thing with Him and He lived on earth as a man a. He was confronted with all the challenges and situations that confronted men on earth. Nevertheless, He exercised absolute and complete dominion in all areas. He suspended natural laws, physical laws, medical laws, economic laws, scientific laws and all earthly laws by exercising and demonstrating spiritual laws and principles. He obeyed earthly laws as a man but anytime He was confronted with an obstacle that requires a solution that is supernatural, He never hesitated to apply that supernatural solution. That is why the scripture says the world will not be able to contain the books if all He did was written. The bible never exaggerates. 31 John 2:1-11(God's Word translation): “Three days later a wedding took place in the city of Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there. Jesus and his disciples had been invited too. When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They're out of wine." Jesus said to her, "Why did you come to me? My time has not yet come." His mother told the servers, "Do whatever he tells you." Six stone water jars were there. They were used for Jewish purification rituals. Each jar held 18 to 27 gallons. Jesus told the servers, "Fill the jars with water." The servers filled the jars to the brim. Jesus said to them, "Pour some, and take it to the person in charge." The servers did as they were told. The person in charge tasted the water that had become wine. He didn't know where it had come from, although the servers who had poured the water knew. The person in charge called the groom and said to him, "Everyone serves the best wine first. When people are drunk, the host serves cheap wine. But you have saved the best wine for now." Cana in Galilee was the place where Jesus began to perform miracles. He made his glory public there, and his disciples believed in him.” This miracle just shows us that you can change the chemistry of anything if you want to. Jesus changed the chemistry of water to wine and it was better than the wine that was previously served. If you find yourself in a fix and there is no way out in the natural for you to get a solution to what you want, then you can change the chemistry of a matter to whatever you need at that time. Spiritual giants are not limited by the substance in their possession; they can change the chemistry if there is no 32 natural solution available at that moment. Mathew 17:24-27: “And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.” This miracle is actually mind blowing. Jesus wanted money to pay tax for Himself and Peter, and there was no natural solution available at that moment. So He performed a miracle. Peter got money from the most unlikely source, the mouth of a fish. Not from the ATM machine or bank. Jesus just showed us that all financial limitation has been removed if you can only demonstrate your spiritual ability by faith. This is what I will call miracle money; it suspends financial laws. Matthew 14:15-21: “And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; 33 send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. He said, Bring them hither to me. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.” I know that one of the characteristics of a living thing is reproduction. However, loaves and roasted fish is no longer a living thing, yet it reproduced itself and multiplied. How do you explain that? Jesus suspended scientific laws to feed 5000 men (women and children not counted) and had fragments of 12 full baskets; this is beyond every human calculation. We are in the day and time where miracles like this will be a common thing. It has been happening but in very few places, soon it will be a regular thing. There can be no lack for a spiritual giant. If you do not have enough and there is no physical means to get more at that time, then you can multiply what you have to be enough. God is raising this kind of spiritual giants on earth right now. 34 PAUL Acts 28:3-6:“And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm. Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.” The barbarians referred to Paul as a god because they had not seen anything like that before. A venomous beast that should have killed him in minutes bit Paul but he did not experience any reaction in his body talk less of dying. Let me explain to you what happened; there was a supernatural life operating in Paul's body that neutralized the foreign deadly substance introduced into that body. That is why a spiritual giant cannot be poisoned to death; it is not possible. Spiritual giants have immunity in their body system against poison no matter the source. Jesus told us about this in Mark 16:15-18, which is our next discussion. 35 MARK 16:15-18 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Jesus said of the spiritual giants that God is giving birth to on earth has a characteristic: they cast out demons, they speak in new languages, they deal with serpents, they have immunity against poison and they heal the sick no matter the condition. Each of this characteristic is a major topic on its own, so it cannot be exhaustively discussed here. Just meditate on this verse for as long as you can. If a spiritual giant has the ability to transfer life and health into a sick person for them to be healed then a spiritual giant does not have a business being sick. Sickness is foreign to the body of a spiritual giant. A spiritual giant can speak languages that were not learnt intellectually, that is what Jesus said. Look through that scripture again and imagine what kind of giants God is raising on earth. The instances above from the scriptures clearly show that God does not intend for His children to live a natural life. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14 36 “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” Romans 8:19 God is raising spiritual giants that will live above the natural events and circumstances of this earth realm. These spiritual giants are normal people, living a normal life and faced with natural situations and circumstances of this earthly realm but they will never be limited or dominated by the earthly realm and the physical and natural laws of this earth. HOW DO YOU BECOME A SPIRITUAL GIANT · Ÿ Jesus Christ must be the Lord of your life. Ÿ You must give yourself wholly to the ministry of the Word of God and the Spirit of God. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14 “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” 1 Timothy 4:15 Ÿ Exercise your faith, spiritual nature and ability consistently without fail. Whatever you give yourself to and exercise regularly will surely manifest in your life. “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue -speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and 37 and exhortation, and comfort. He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.” 1Corinthians 14:2 – 4 “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17 (It is worthy to note here that I am not telling you things that are just theory, the supernatural is the life I have lived and experienced for years. PROPHECIES God spoke to me about the spiritual giants that are coming up in His church and their characteristics and my role as an apostle of Jesus of Christ in the lives of some of them that will be sent to my path. These are some of them out of many prophecies and encounters and some of the prophecies written here are excerpts picked out of a long conversation. Thursday February 27th 2003: You know what I see? I see my church walking in my glory, manifesting my true person, my love nature and my life to the world. The world would see what they have never seen before and what they have never imagined before because my church will do superabundantly 38 more than they have ever imagined, even those things done in cartoons is small. Things that are beyond their highest thoughts or their deepest comprehension will be done by my church. This is beyond whatever you can imagine now. It is only for the new creation because it can only be understood and lived by faith in me. My church has started walking in her calling but when the fullness of time comes, she will demonstrate and live like god to the world. It will be impossible to stop her. Only one person will shake a whole city and even nations. There is more to see and to comprehend. The world will grow darker by the plan of the devil but he is only acting out what I have said in My Word. The darker and more scary things look, the more glorious my army will be and the deeper their convictions which will lead to more outstanding signs and wonders beyond your highest thinking. You will see my army walk in love and in faith as it has never been seen before. More will be added to the church and she will be become more dominant and radiate My Glory. She will walk in outstanding victory as it has never been seen before. Then I will come to take my church home because she has fulfilled her calling, dominated the devil and this world. Your part is to fulfill your calling and help others to fulfill their calling. It is not by power nor by might but by my Spirit. 39 Tuesday 30th March 2004: Generals will start arising in my church in these last days, so do not despise anyone or look down on anyone. The most unlikely people will be chosen and they will respond to my love. They will have deep convictions, they will stand on what I have sent them to do, and they will ensure my church walk in oneness. I will send generals to your path, train them for the future ahead, remember the future is not far. Now is the time to do all that is required of you because you are called for a purpose. Saturday 11th August 2004: In the next few years, you will start seeing a rise of a new generation of generals with one belief and conviction, walking in my love and demonstrating my power. There will be manifestation of the sons of God. This is not the time to play around; it is time for my church to yield to the greatness in Me. Spiritual conflicts will become more intense and the conviction of many people will be tested. Saturday 8th January 2005: Another set of generals in my army will come from the Arabic speaking nations, Buddhist and Hindus believing nations. These men will carry great convictions and who will follow my instructions to the last letter. In terms of spiritual strength they will ride high. One will take a city and even nations. Your work 40 Your work is to win them for me and train them for me. One will do great things and win many others for my kingdom. Another set of generals in my army are those groomed from small as little children. These little children will grow up to know no defeat or fear. All they will know is My Spirit and my Word. They will see nothing but possibilities. Denote that the Lord is mostly using the word generals in those prophecies because He has an army and there is a real spiritual conflict for the destiny of men going on now. That conflict will get more intense at the end of this age. God is not training us as spiritual giants for entertainment but for the souls and destiny of men. Even though we are sons of God, the training God is giving us is similar to that of an army. Our army is not an army of death but an army of life. Jesus said in John 10:10: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Jesus has a purpose and it is to give life. The army also has a purpose and it is to give life. The spiritual giants that God is raising are going to look ordinary like everyone else but they have only one conviction and it is to please Jesus no matter the consequences they 41 might face by that action. They are Christians that are ready to lay down their lives for Jesus and the gospel. They fear nothing and live for only Jesus. They have an unparalleled spiritual mentality about the supernatural because they are highly convinced that even though they are in this world, they are not of this world. CONCLUSION Different classes of giants have reigned in different dispensations. But spiritual giants are the classes of giants that will close this age. Everything happening in this earth realm is orchestrated from the spirit realm, either from the kingdom of Light or from the Kingdom of darkness. Every battle from the creation of man until the end of this age will be for the lives and destiny of men. The content of this book is to reveal the intention and the heart of God for His children in these last days before the rapture. God is calling His children to leave infanthood and grow up to become spiritual giants. There is a beckoning in the realm of the spirit to those that will respond to the call. It is time to live up to our origin and heritage in God. We are divine beings living in a natural world. The supernatural is our life and lifestyle anything outside that is living below our standard as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. We are not meant to blend into the world system but to live the heavenly system within the world system. We are called to be different by standing for truth, distributing life and walking in God kind of love. Do not accept the mentality of the world system because in Him we live, in Him we move and in Him we have our being. Jesus is the essence of all existence. 42 43 Jesus is raising spiritual giants among His children today. These spiritual giants will work and walk with the Holy Spirit to bring back the Lord Jesus to the earth that will eventually end this age. Respond to your training and fully yield to this divine call, there is nothing as exciting and as rewarding as an authentic Christian life. SALVATION PRAYERS To become a spiritual giant, JESUS must first be the Lord of your life. If you want JESUS to be the Lord of your life then you can say the prayer below and believe every word truthfully in your heart. Say this prayer out loud: Dear JESUS, I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross of Calvary. I believe in my heart that you died for me and you resurrected on the third day because of me by the power of God and the Holy Spirit. From today, I receive remission of my sins and I confess you as the Lord of my life. By faith, I receive eternal life into my spirit now.
