Don’t ever do this - Fashion no-go’s that are justified
Change is constant; this is a very popular comment which we all agree is true about life, change
must always occur. So also, changing fashion trends that affect our fashion styles and choices
should always be expected.
The different eye catching trends that come in cycles to the world of fashion are most times as a
result of bold experimentation by fashion designers, and in rare cases, the daring genius of
fashion icons whose stylish personas are worshipped.
However, there are the do's and don’ts that guide what can be termed as fashionable, and no
matter how much of a celebrity fashion designer, icon, or fashion trend setter one may be,
falling foul of these silent fashion rules will warrant an investigation by the fashion police for
committing the crime of a fashion faux pas.
It is even more common to commit fashion crimes while not even trying to be fashionable,
simply because such fashion styles have become so outdated, it is considered a crime to be
seen out in the open still dressed in such outdated fashion styles.
Draped in Designer Logo
We all love to look fashionable in designer clothes because each designer has a unique identity,
and to be honest, who doesn’t want to be seen wearing designer clothes or fashion items?
As much as we all love designer brands, it is a fashion no-no to step out dressed in an
ensemble that is completely covered with the bold designer brand. As a good example, going
out draped from head to toe in bold GUCCI signs is a no-no; clowns don’t even dress so
horribly.
Excessive Patterns and Prints
Patterns and prints when in the right proportions produces a style that can be considered
artistic, but it can be so hard to pull off that getting it right is like walking on a knife's edge.
Going to events in clothes styled with excessive patterns and prints will only leave everyone
wondering if you converted a quilt to a cloth.
Oversized Jackets
It was once a common sight in past times to see men in oversized jackets because it was still an
acceptable trend. Now, nothing is more fashionably distasteful than wearing an oversized
Jacket in 2019.
To remain trendy and stylish when trying on a jacket or blazer now, ensure that the shoulders fit
properly. A jacket that doesn’t fit properly on the shoulders will create a divot. A divot is the extra
fabric that falls off the shoulder that gives a sad look, and that is a no-no.
Baggy Dress Shirt
Avoid wearing baggy dress shirts, it is also a big no-no. It reflects badly on the overall physique
because the extra fabric folds, drops and generally gives a sloppy look when dress shirts should
make you look smart.
Sheer Dresses
Sexy is the new trend, and everyone is taking it a notch higher by wear revealing dresses. If you
are comfortable showing extra skin, then, by all means do so in a classy stylish sexy dress.
We would love it if you could dress sexy, and still leave something to the imagination. So, it is a
big NO to wear a sheer dress that exposes your underwear, or in some extreme cases lack of
underwear.

pas, then, the best bet for you is to go through the ever trendy Louis Collections where you will
