Report on Discrepancies Found on the YouBloom Dev Site

Overview
This report highlights several discrepancies, UI/UX issues, and functional limitations encountered on the
YouBloom development site during a user testing session. These observations are based on the artist and
fan sign-up processes, as well as general navigation and functionality across the platform.
Identified Issues
1. Functionality Issues
● The system does not allow users to input band member names, even after multiple clicks.
● The “View your artist” page link is broken and returns a “No longer exist” error.
● Password reset functionality is delayed. Even after several clicks, users receive the email
notification later than expected. Reset password emails should be sent immediately.
2. Fan Sign-Up Limitations
● The email field does not show that it is mandatory.
3. Input Restrictions
● Even after filling out all necessary fields, YouBloom Connect does not allow users to complete
the sign-up process.
Recommendations
1. Fix Navigation Logic
● Ensure that once an artist logs in, they are directed to their respective dashboard or next logical
step.
2. Improve Functionality
● Enable band member name fields.
● Fix broken links and enhance password reset responsiveness.
3.Clarify Form Requirements
● Mark ‘ the email’ with asterisks or warning messages.
4. Enhance Input Capabilities
● Debug the sign-up process to ensure successful submission once all fields are filled.
Conclusion
These issues, if addressed promptly, will significantly enhance the user experience on the YouBloom
platform. Fixing these discrepancies will also improve conversion rates for new users, reduce frustration,
and align the platform more closely with its intended brand identity and goals.
