Make no mistake about it; the entire nation will be cheering on proudly on their beloved Gilas Pilipinas squad as the latter attempts to conquer the basketball world.
Basketball TV and Solar Sports, in partnership with Greenfield District leads the effort in bringing the Philippines together in the official viewing parties of the FIBA World Cup.
The Greenfield District in Mandaluyong City will get the ball rolling as it hosts the inaugural leg of the festivities. Gilas Pilipinas’ highly anticipated return to the big dance is set to begin when it goes up against European stalwart Croatia at 6:30PM.
Fans in attendance will have a chance to win gift certificates from Peak and surprises from Slam Philippines and other marketing partners.
Overseeing the event will be Riki Flores, who will serve as the captain of the Filipino troops rallying behind the Gilas squad in the battle that they face.
