FOR EVERYBODY T C I E V J E B S O 1. To educate everyone in society about the importance of equality and equity; to which is everyone’s right. 2. To advocate for the rights and freedom that everyone in our society should practice. Although within the reigns of justice, social justice must also be advocated. 3. To avoid the disadvantages and inequalities that the government can give to the marginalized, disabled and other people in society which threatens their rights and freedom. 4. To stop the unnecessary burdens that society has to go through from the adverse effects brought about by the government and its fellow companies who have power in the society. DURATION The project will be posted at the start of the new year 2021 wherein it assumes the start of a long project to educate and fight for the rights of our citizens. Follow-up publication materials may be made. TARGET BENEFICIARIES The group created this project to cater to the needs of the marginalized, disabled, and mistreated populations in the country. We hope that in implementing this project, the people who are reached may have a realization of their rights brought about by God. As despite their situation, no one can control or manipulate them in such a way that gives people with power an advantage. WE ARE CALLED TO REALIZE THAT ALL POWER, NO MATTER WHICH LEVEL IS ONLY ACCOUNTABLE TO GOD Everything on this Earth is made by God. Thus, he has power over every living thing on this planet. We believe that only He is the one capable of dictating and using us. As it is only God who knows what is best for us, and He does not wish to use us for reasons that are not for the greater good. FF WE A IRM We Affirm that no man on this Earth shall have more power than the One True God that we praise with all of His Glory. WILL RESIST E W We Will Resist any acts that may go against rights and dignity of the human person. Abuse of power that enacts inequality and injustice are unacceptable. COMMIT E W We Commit to settle for equality and equity for everyone in society, no more and no less. We support people’s movements to lead to the path of righteousness. WE ARE CALLED TO TREAT ALL MEN AND WOMEN WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT This also comes with promoting equality and equity in our society. Every single person in this world is made in the image of God, hence every single person deserves dignity and respect, and that we are all equal in this world. We should also be fair to those who do not have the same means and capabilities as the rest of society, hence the importance of equity. FFIRM A E W We Affirm that every man and woman on this Earth have equal rights, which are inalienable and came from God himself. WILL RESIST E W We Will Resist discrimination and other unjust acts towards all people regardless of race, gender, and socioeconomic background. COMMIT E W We Commit to eradicating all barriers that favors the selected few to promote equality for all. THE STATE’S MANDATE IS TO PROTECT ITS CITIZENS FROM HARM, FRAUD, AND VIOLATIONS OF THEIR RIGHTS Primary role of the State is to be a protector of its people, not its exploiter, enslaver, and god. We believe that good governance and a just right size of government is essential to achieving true equality and equity, so that no corporation would receive special favors, so that everyone will pay their fair share to the government as it was written “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s.” FF WE A IRM We affirm that everyone should pay their fair share to the government and that the government should only have limited intervention in our lives, as it was stated earlier that only God is the worthy one of dictating our lives and nobody else. WILL RESIST E W We will resist government tyranny and overreach over our lives. We will resist corruption, nepotism, and cronyism. COMMIT E W We commit to raising our voices on the government until such time that there will be no cronyism, corruption, and nepotism. WE ARE TO BE PROVIDED OF OUR BASIC NEEDS JUST AS GOD HAS PROVIDED THEM FOR US. We are called to remember and remind others of our human rights because we are all entitled to having basic needs such as quality education, food, work and shelter. In addition, knowing these human rights and reminding others of it will enable them to promote equality and resist injustices in our society. FFIRM A E W We Affirm that with the help of God’s guidance, we will be able to know these human rights and use them to protect the human dignity of ourselves and others. WILL RESIST E W We Will Resist all injustices and inequality happening in our society and will not allow people of power to abuse marginalized people. COMMIT E W We Commit to educating people especially the marginalized of their basic human rights and how to wisely vote for political leaders which will help promote justice and equality in our society. JUSTICE IS COMPASSION FOR THE COMMON GOOD, JUST AS GOD WHO FOUGHT FOR HIS PEOPLE IN ORDER FOR US TO ATTAIN THE GREATER GOOD. As people of God, we believe that there will be perfect justice one day. Empowered with the compassion of God, we should fight for justice, protect vulnerable people especially the marginalized. FF WE A IRM We Affirm that although inequality is prevalent, with God’s compassion, we will be able to protect vulnerable people in our society. WILL RESIST E W We Will Resist persecution towards the marginalized and do not let abusive people go unpunished. COMMIT E W We Commit to surrendering every injustice and inequality in our society because without His grace, our actions to prevent these are useless.
