The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company PJSC, marketed under SEHA, was launched on 29th November, 2007 under Emiri Decree #10 issued in April, 2007. SEHA is a registered independent Public Sector Joint Stock Company (PJSC) with currently 100% stock owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi.

Our goal is to manage and develop the curative abilities of the public hospitals and clinics of the Emirates of Abu Dhabi. We also help shifting their operating stance from one supported entirely by the government to one financed by the private sector where people pay for healthcare services. We are approaching complete fiscal independence and are on our way to be a complete integrated healthcare system that is one of the largest in the Middle East.
SEHA manoeuvres 12 hospitals in the company of 2,644 beds, 2 blood banks and 62 Ambulatory and Primary health treatment centres. We provide work for around 17,000 physicians, technicians, nurses, associated administrative and health staff. We work to bring in the reliance of the community and to be their partner in healthcare for life.
SEHA partners with leading healthcare providers of the world who are acknowledged in support of their stupendous performances in their local markets, like, Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins Medicine VAMED, Fresenius Medical Care and the Medical University of Vienna.

SEHA serves the critical need for quality healthcare in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE. Traditionally, affluent Emiratis and expatriates have travelled abroad for serious medical care. SEHA aims to change that making world class medical care available right in Abu Dhabi.

My facilitating the growth of healthcare services in Abu Dhabi, we attract local and international investment opportunities as well as strategic partners for rapid growth and development. Our current partners include John Hopkins Medicine and Cleveland Clinic, among others.
SEHA also aims to offer unparalleled services for rapid action emergency situations.
We actively manage the financial operations of all healthcare facilities under our wing to ensure solvency and to assure the provision of efficient and competitive healthcare services.
We actively implement Emiratization initiative to increase the number of well-trained, qualified and proud Emiratis employed by SEHA.
