Once there was a Digital Marketing competition in my
high school organized by business department.
Participants have to digitally market an online course on
physics offered by science department. I was very willing
and motivated to participate in the challenge, as it was
my dream to become a successful digital marketer one
day. We have a deadline of four months to submit the
project. The problem was that I don’t have updated
knowledge of the current scenario of digital world.
Everyday, I open up my browser and search for best
Digital Marketing online courses. But unfortunately, I
was not able to find courses which satisfy my demand of
a 360 overview of digital marketing. Until one day, one
of my friend introduced me to Udacity and it’s different
programs. Luckily, they were also offering a nanodegree on digital
marketing. I read all of its offerings and it’s benefits of hands on
practical projects. I buy that course for $999. Within three months
after completing the course, I have gotten an outstanding
knowledge of the digital marketing world. With less than a month
left in the high school project submission, I started my campaign
for the assigned product. I worked tirelessly on the project,
marketing it on all social media platforms and search engines.
Finally, I submitted it two days before the headline. And because
of Udacity, I got the first prize in the competition. Not only that,
because of the all the handful projects, I got a job in a local digital
marketing firm. I made several successful projects for my firm and
kept enhancing my portfolio. Until finally, I established my own
digital marketing agency in my hometown. Ever since then, my
company is making projects for big firms and competing on
international level.
