Given below are the top 6 best one piece arcs that are worth watching. 1. Straw Hat Pirates vs. Arlong Pirates This is one of the very best arcs of one piece. Johnny and Yosaku, who tried to take on Arlong and failed, stop the villagers at the gate and tell them to wait for Straw Hat crew to show up. When the crew arrives, Luffy breaks down the door and slugs Arlong for making Nami cry. Sanji fights Kuroobi, almost being defeated when he goes into the water to rescue Luffy. However, seeing that Nojiko and Genzo are helping Luffy, Sanji brings Kuroobi up to dry land and defeats him. Meanwhile, Usopp fights Chew outside of Arlong Park. When Arlong forbids Luffy to use Nami, Luffy begins to destroy the room. Arlong tries to stop him with a final attack, but Luffy smashes Arlong through the tower, finally beating him. The impact also destroys the park in the process. The arc shows the power of our characters like Usopp, Sanji and mostly Luffy. 2. Alabasta Arc Another one from the list of best one piece arcs! Albasta arc is of pivotal importance to one piece. The Straw Hats each face a dangerous battle. Chopper and Usopp battle Mr. 4, his devil fruit Lassoo, and Miss Merry Christmas. Despite Usopp taking serious injuries, the duo manages to turn their enemies' attacks against them and defeat the trio. Sanji takes Mr. 2 Bon Kurei in a very comical yet brutal match of martial arts. Mr. 2 on the other hand, takes advantage of Sanji's weakness towards women. Nami fights Miss Doublefinger, using a new weapon created by Usopp called the Clima-Tact. Her knowledge of weather comes behaves as an edge to beat her opponent. Zoro faces against Mr. 1. Vivi arrives at the palace and gives order for the Royal Army to blow up the palace in order to get everyone's attention, but is stopped by Crocodile. Luffy fights, but eventually gets struck by the hook and is poisoned. Both pirates go for a final attack with Luffy managing to bust through Crocodiles', slamming him with a massive attack called Gomu Gomu no Storm. 3. Ace's Great Blackbeard Search Ace is one of the most favorite characters in one piece. Three days before Luffy left Water 7, Ace finally catches up to Blackbeard on Banaro Island, but his attempt to fight him reveals Teach's darkest secret: the control of the Yami Yami no Mi, said to be the evilest of the Devil Fruits. As fire and darkness collide, the island is destroyed. The outcome is left unrevealed, but Ace's hat is shown lying on the ground. It is said that the fight between them is the trigger for a great event yet to come. 4. Battle of Marineford The greatest war ever happened in one piece in my opinion! After Sengoku revealed Ace's secret to the world, Whitebeard arrived with his crew. Along with 43 subordinate pirate crews from the New World. Whitebeard sets off a massive earthquake that causes two giant tidal waves to crash into Marineford as a signal for the war. Aokiji froze the oncoming tidal waves and consequently the sea so as to trap the pirate ships with his "Ice Age". Also, it gave the Pirates a surface to conduct their attack on the Marines. After a fierce battle between the Whitebeard Pirates and the World Government forces. They joined the war against the World Government as well, most of them on Whitebeard's side. Ace then tries to tell Luffy to leave for his own safety, but Luffy retorts by claiming to be his brother. Sengoku then revealed worldwide that they are adopted brothers, and Luffy is Monkey D. Dragon's son, and is as dangerous as Ace, much to the shock of many. After the injection, Luffy left everyone frightened and shocked. As the pirates retreat on Whitebeard's orders, Akainu launches another "Great Eruption" at them. An enraged Ace stays behind to retaliate with his "Fire Fist", only for it to be consumed by the superior magma. Akainu then states that he will not allow Luffy nor Ace to leave Marineford alive no matter what. The entire Marineford sees how Akainu pierces Ace through his stomach. Ace dies in Luffy's arms, causing him to undergo a severe trauma. This instantly defeats the Whitebeard Pirates' purpose and changes the tides of the war to favor the Marines. However, Marco manages to encourage the pirates to fight on to save Luffy, the brother that Ace sacrificed himself to save. 5. Whitebeard slain by the Blackbeard Pirates Amidst all the chaos, Akainu continues to try and kill Luffy but is defeated by the enraged Whitebeard. Afterward, Newgate manages to literally split Marineford into two. Separating the pirates from the marines and later leading to the arrival of the Blackbeard Pirates. After a short confrontation between captains, the Blackbeard Pirates deliver the death blow to Edward Newgate, marking the end of Whitebeard's reign as the strongest man in the world. Shortly thereafter, Teach manages to fuse the powers of the Gura Gura no Mi with the Yami Yami no Mi, declaring to all that his era has begun. 6. Enter Shanks Law and his crew take Jinbe and Luffy inside their submarine. As they are both put on the operation table, Buggy yells at Shanks for lying about the treasure map. When Buggy is cooled down and praised by his followers, Shanks threatens Blackbeard. As both crews face down each other, Teach's side decides to leave. Shanks then declares that Ace's and Whitebeard's dead bodies should be given a proper burial by the pirates. Sengoku agrees and the war ends with the marines announcing their victory to the world.
