Pakistan is one of those countries which suffer water resources insufficiency. It has two main reasons which cause water resources insufficiency, first the improper Economic water management systems and secondly the lack of ground or surface water. The water resources scarcity has few factors associated with it that are weak water management programs, climate change, urbanization, increase in population and inappropriate water usage patterns. For the survival of human beings water is an important source and managing it is even more important, researchers point out that the water resources shortage will be on peak in Pakistan by the year 2050, so for managing water resources, researchers have indicated several models which can effectively help to bring balance between water resources demand and supply to control water resources scarcity in the country. Those models suggest that proper water planning programs such as constructing dams and proper irrigation system will potentially enable the country to enrich its water resources. Moreover for improving ground water resources the country should run awareness programs regarding climate change, and proper usage of water resources so that it help the households to manage this valuable resource. So, for better management of such resources the country strongly need to invest both in proper water management systems and as well as in conducting awareness programs to strengthen the water resources in the country that would benefit the country both economically and socially. Finally by managing limited water resources the country will overcome the insufficiency problem of water resources.
