Miha Lenic (Dip. Engineering), born on 12.01 .1985 in Brezice, Slovenia, was first employed at our company, Gesellschaft fur Anlagen- und Reaktorsicherheit (GRS)
gGmbH, as a project manager at our subsidiary RISKAUDIT IRSN/GRS International,
near Paris, France on-.
GRS gGmbH is an independent non-profit research and expert organisation , acting
largely on behalf of the German Federal Government. The focus of its activity is nuclear safety and waste management, radiation protection and environmental protection.
Our subsidiary RISKAUDIT IRSN/GRS International is a non-profit European Economic
Interest Grouping (EEIG) with headquarters in Paris. It was founded in 1992 by GRS
and its French partner, the lnstitut de Radioprotection et de Surete Nucleaire (IRSN).
RISKAUDIT is above all engaged in European projects promoting nuclear safety
worldwide.
During his tenure, Mr. Lenic assumed responsibilities for the management of
eight projects in the field of nuclear safety and radiological protection, which totaled to
a budget of approximately EUR 9 million. The projects covered technical assistance by
EU expert teams to third countries, including three projects in Armenia, one in Mongolia, two in the United Arab Emirates and one in Vietnam. He also managed a project
covering all EU member states, analysing their strategy to transpose a EURATOM directive in the field of radiation protection.
His work involved business development, including the preparation of technical and
commercial offers, negotiation with the clients, the establishment of the best expert
teams, the coordination of their activities and their work plan, the communication with
and between all stakeholders that are involved in the projects (on average 50 persons
per project), the quality approved reporting to the clients, and the financial management of projects.
Last but not least, Mr Lenic carried out the fu nctions of Key Quality Manager at our
subsidiary RISKAUDIT IRSN/GRS International, passing two external audits successfully and enhancing our Quality Management System to comply with standard DIN EN
ISO 9001 :2015.
As a project manager, Mr Lenic has a multitude of strengths, not the least of which are
his natural ability to communicate at all levels in both verbal and written communication, to coordinate and manage large expert teams, and to work independently. He was
highly efficient, organised and completely thorough in the conduct of all tasks. As a
trained project manager, he was key to establishing efficient and effective working
methods as well as structuring and updating the company's project management tools,
notably the initiation and transfer of projects on SharePoint, which he has mastered
impeccably.
Mr Lenic is an excellent professional and reliable person, highly regarded and respected by both our partners and clients. At all times, we have found Mr Lenic to be dependable, hard-working, intelligent and honest. He has excellent English language
skills and has shown impressive progress in French over the past two years.
We are sorry to see Mr. Lenic leave the company for personal reasons. The Managing
Director of RISKAUDIT IRSN/GRS International, Mrs. Selma Ku~. PhD, has no hesitation to recommend him for any endeavours or positions he might want to pursue and
remains available for any additional information.
Mr. Lenic is leaving of his own accord in order to take on new professional challenges.
We regret his leaving very much and would like to thank him for his excellent performance and very pleasant collaboration during his time at GRS. We wish Mr. Lenic all
the best and every success in his future professional and private life.
