Speaker 1: Lalo’s Auto Repair, how can I help you?
Speaker 2: Is this Lalo?
Speaker 1: Lalo, can I help you?
Speaker 2: Lalo, this is Denette, how are you?
Speaker 1: Good, who is this?
Speaker 2: Denette, I do your marketing.
Speaker 1: Oh okay.
Speaker 2: How are you doing?
Speaker 1: I’m really good.
Speaker 2: I got a call from... is it pronounce Araceli, your wife?
Speaker 1: Yes.
Speaker 2: Okay saying that things were going to be changing...
Speaker 1: Okay.
Speaker 2: ... and you guys were gonna be doing your own business and then the website and everything will be changed. I wanted to explain that if that website gets changed I don't know what you guys want me to do...
Speaker 1: No, no we’re going to keep that the same as we want to make sure....
Speaker 2: Okay you are.
Speaker 1: ... that change is going to be... we’re going to be... here on, you have to call us to find out what needs to be done or what we’re doing with the webpage. It’s going to be the same thing. Ah, how we pay you?
[00:01:01]
Speaker 2: Lalo’s auto repair dot com, it would be a big mistake to let that go and the only reason I say that is we were in the back on like page thirty. It takes a long time to get on the front page. So yeah don't get rid of Lalo’s auto repair dot com and so...
Speaker 1: But the problem is I don’t controlling that one so I don’t know who's controlling that one. You do control it?
Speaker 2: Then who has it? Do you have that? I don’t own that. Do you own that or does Michael own that?
[00:01:30]
Speaker 1: Well I pay for it but he is the one has control in that.
Speaker 2: Okay so if we have to change it we might lose placement. That's what I'm worried about.
Speaker 1: We lose what?
Speaker 2: Placement, like ranking on the internet.
Speaker 1: Okay
Speaker 2: Like right now you're on the front page with Lalo’s auto repair dot com and it took me about eight months to get it there because all the competition.
Speaker 1: Okay
Speaker 2: So that’s how...
Speaker 1: Now, how we can find out? [00:02:01]How we can call and find out and make sure we get control on that page?
Speaker 2: Yeah I guess... well ask Michael if he owns that page?
Speaker 1: No I pay for that.
Speaker 2: The Lalo auto repair dot com.
Speaker 1: Lalo’s auto repair pays for that but we don’t know who’s in charge for that page.
Speaker 2: Well I’m in charge of the website but I don’t own the www address is referred to you as your URL. I don't own that URL. [00:02:31] I think Michael owns it. I just design the website.
Speaker 1: Alright.
Speaker 2: So yeah, so we need to find out who owns that and how you want to do that because if you change it, it could be bad. So that's what I worry, you know? And so... but I mean you know whatever business decisions you guys have to make you know that I has nothing to do with me .
Speaker 1: Alright I know.
Speaker 2: I just want you to know that if you change it...
Speaker 1: I know that.
Speaker 2: ... you know it [00:03:00] it could cause a problem with your advertising. And so... because I'm looking at your Yelp page right now and then it's doing good. You actually have a lot of people clicking on you over the weekend so were you guys pretty busy on Saturday?
Speaker 1: Yes.
Speaker 2: That's good. Okay so the Yelp page, I’m in full control of and don't have any changes there. [00:03:30] it’s your website I worry about. So talk to Michael Gonzalez, ask and you know when you do your business with him... are you guys going to stop doing business with him? Is that what I understood with Araceli?
Speaker 1: Well the problem is... the problem is every time I got to do something. I had to go to him so I don't want to be keeping going thru him. He is the one... as my co-partner but he tried to get a probably ahead of me like he's the boss, he’s... so I didn’t... I already had a boss before [00:04:02] so I don’t want to feel like... I got another boss. So when I have control of everything, he wants to keep being a partner. He went to the payroll company and put payroll on him without asking to me you know so I don’t want to see the money coming out from everywhere because he's taking decision without asking so that’s to me... that’s not right, you know. Then I don’t mind doing that but you have the way asking, you know [00:04:30] and between Araceli and me, we don't even get off the payroll not even $100.
Speaker 2: Well if we have to change www Lalo’s auto repair dot com we might be able to change it like if he wants to see that name we might be able to change it without having too much problem with the listing. So let me know...
Speaker 1: Yeah when I say we... he don’t run...
Speaker 2: ... and then if you want me to start billing you directly or what are we doing?
[00:05:01]
Speaker 1: But I want to be... saying I get control of my stuff. That’s only what I was worry. If I hear someone call you, you don’t dressing right, you don’t answer the phone right, you don’t... you’re bugging me too much. I got so much trouble with the cars, with the employees. Well then probably you’re going to say car is here having to taking care every month. So I don’t want to someone bossing me behind me like... you know.
Speaker 2: Yeah I understand. I have my own boss and I like it that way and so I completely understand you.
[00:05:34]
Speaker 1: Yeah I got re-marry and then I got the same trouble. I got two guys behind me talking to me and the issue with the guys that don't get along together so I say, "Hey wait a minute I have to stop these things."
Speaker 2: Yeah whatever you want to do with your business I’m just here to work on your advertising.
Speaker 1: Okie dokie.
Speaker 2: So you know what I mean?
Speaker 1: I want to keep it the same way they just....if we’re going to be able to control of that, I want to be keep and be on top of that you know so that’s the real reason. [00:06:03] I’m asking him, how much you want to be... say buyout for the business? He wants $80,000. I said last time a guy come and offers me $100,000 for the business. He wanted $80,000. He only like 20% of the business co-partner, you know 20%. That’s what we agreed, 20%. So while he’s taking a 100% responsibility for the business when I’m the one on the front, you know. Before I was not here so he can control about it. I don’t see no... [00:06:31] my account never went over $5,000 at all. When I’m here... left him five months I don't owe money to nobody, my account went over $25,000.
Speaker 2: That's good.
Speaker 1: That's why he tried to get and pay for everyone. He doesn’t even be here longer than 10 minutes at all for weeks so how he’s going to get pay for? I don't mind he get paid for you know but I got a few friends [crosstalk]... [00:07:01] yeah few friends kind of call me they want to get an accounts and if you see accounts you know like having different cars.
Speaker 2: Sure.
Speaker 1: So we try to make sure... I don't mind keep minding the business but he has to be followed me; I don’t have to follow him because I'm the one making the money. He wants the money he has to say, “Hey how we’re going to get the money for you. Don’t take decision like getting on payroll, you know. I don’t mind, I like the way we’re working together.
[00:07:32]
Speaker 2: Yeah then whatever you guys have to do to make... yeah whatever you guys have to do to make business works best, for you, for him, for whatever you know I just want to know that I can still do the work for you company and keep doing the advertising.
Speaker 1: You know I’m going to try to do that.
Speaker 2: [crosstalk]... the garbage part, you know what I mean?
Speaker 1: Yeah I like to say he was okay to stay with us; he has to be following me like we want to make money and business you know. That’s the way we have it here. He asked me how I going to make money? Let’s go work together, no problem. [00:08:01] so we keep you in touch with that.
Speaker 2: Well I think more times than not how if it doesn’t work out?
Speaker 1: I know but we don’t know... I don’t like it but I’m doing it but he has to be understanding. I have to be take control. I don’t want to be bossing me behind me all the time you know. What are you doing? What are... you know.
Speaker 2: Yeah. So I’ll send you a bill now, every month or keep it the way it is [inaudible 08:28]? [crosstalk]
Speaker 1: No that’s what I’m asking you, how do you collect the money?
[00:08:30]
Speaker 2: Well normally what I do is I bill through PayPal and...
Speaker 1: Yeah but you use credit card?
Speaker 2: Yes, yes.
Speaker 1: Okay when you needed that I got another credit card. I change the credit cards, alright?
Speaker 2: Alright.
Speaker 1: Let me know when you’re ready.
Speaker 2: Okay hang on a second. What I’ll do is I’ll set up a corporate account for your company and then I’ll bill every month for what I do for you and what I do is all your advertising on the map section, all you advertising underneath the map section and your Yelp page and that's 175 a month including the website, okay.
[00:09:07]
Speaker 1: Alright I got a few things going on here, when you're ready for charging let me know and we can give you the credit card.
Speaker 2: Okay I'm ready to go ahead.
Speaker 1: Okay I'm not here right now with credit so call me back like... give me couple of minutes, I got a couple of guys talking to me.
Speaker 2: Alright I’ll call you back Lalo.
Speaker 1: How about Araceli call you with it? Bye.
Speaker 2: That’s perfect, bye for now.
