Introduction:
Academic is relating to an educational or scholarly Institution or environment. An institution or a course of study, placing a greater emphasis on reading and study on technical or practical work at scholarly pursuits and activities; Based on formal study, literary or artistic rather than technical or professional studies.
Body:
Academic writing is conducted in several sets of forms and genres, normally in an impersonal and dispassionate tone, targeted for a critical and informed audience, based on closely investigated knowledge, and intended to reinforce or challenge concepts or arguments. It usually circulates within the academic world (‘the academy’), but the academic writer may also find an audience outside via journalism, speeches, pamphlets, etc.
Conclusion:
Academic writing is also educational attainment it helps us to organize with adequate detail so that other scholars may replicate the results. In contrast to personal writing is different because it deals with the underlying theories and causes governing processes and practices in everyday life. Academic writing follows a particular ‘tone’ and adheres to traditional conventions of punctuation grammar, and spelling.
